Symptoms of cervical stiffness

Symptoms of cervical stiffness

Cervical ankylosing is a common cervical spondylosis. Its main manifestation is the disappearance of the normal curvature of the cervical spine. The patient feels local soreness and inability to bend normally. If it is more serious, it may also cause dizziness and numbness in the hands. When cervical ankylosing occurs, it will cause poor blood circulation, resulting in partial cooling of the cervical spine, and inflexible head rotation, etc.

Symptoms of cervical stiffness

Back symptoms: The back muscles are tight and stiff, which improves after activity or massage; there are painful points on the back, which are more obvious when pressed; the back discomfort symptoms are aggravated by fatigue and cold. 2. Neck symptoms: neck discomfort and limited movement. Treatment

First, pay attention to proper rest

Avoid lack of sleep. Lack of sleep, excessive work stress and maintaining a fixed posture for a long time will lead to excessive tension in the nerves and muscles and intensify the symptoms of cervical spondylosis.

Second, change your pillow habits

The physiological curvature of the cervical spine (abbreviated as cervical curve) is not static. As age increases, the cervical spine will undergo degenerative changes and cervical bone hyperplasia, which will cause the cervical curve to change, and even straighten or hyperextend the cervical curve.

Third, take active exercise

Especially the training of the neck, shoulders and back muscles. Correct training can strengthen muscle strength, strengthen the normal physiological curvature of the cervical spine, increase the stability of the biomechanical structure of the cervical spine, and at the same time promote blood and lymph circulation, which is beneficial to the recovery of cervical spondylosis.

Fourth, you can use hot compress

It has a certain effect on relieving local neuromuscular tension.
