What to do if you get prickly heat during confinement

Usually prickly heat will appear on children, but don't forget that expectant mothers whose due date is in the summer will have to stay in confinement after giving birth. They cannot turn on the fan or use the air conditioner. A large number of prickly heat will appear at this time. Prickly heat during the confinement period cannot be treated with medicine. It is better to use some folk remedies as much as possible, which are more effective and harmless. They are all home-cooked foods with no side effects.

1. Extract bitter melon juice : Mash the bitter melon and extract the juice. Apply it to the affected area and the prickly heat will disappear the next day.

2. Cucumber treats prickly heat : For mild prickly heat, you can apply raw cucumber juice or cucumber slices to the affected area. It will be cured in two or three times.

3. Salt to treat prickly heat : Take an appropriate amount of salt, put it in a pan and fry it until it turns brown, then take it out and let it cool for later use; take an appropriate amount of burnt salt (the ratio of salt to water is 1:100) and put it in a basin, add an appropriate amount of warm water to dissolve it completely, take a clean towel, put it in the basin, dip it in water, then wring it slightly, and apply it to the affected area (the degree of warmth should be acceptable to children), apply it several times a day, and it will heal in 2-3 days.

4. Mint bath: Use 150 grams of fresh mint, boil water for bathing, suitable for both young and old.

5. Peach leaf bath: Dry the peach leaves in the shade and put them in a bag. Take 50 grams and soak them in hot water to bathe your child. This can prevent the occurrence of prickly heat. If the prickly heat condition is severe, boil peach leaves into juice and add it to the bath water, or apply it directly to the affected area for better results. When making peach leaf juice, the ratio is: 100 grams of peach leaves and 1000 milliliters of water. Boil it until only half the amount of water remains.

6. Mugwort bath: Rinse off the dust and dirt on the mugwort leaves, add a large amount of water and boil them for half an hour. Use the boiled water to bathe your children. It can not only prevent and treat prickly heat, but also prevent the occurrence of other summer skin diseases and play a role in moisturizing and beautifying the skin.
