Chinese medicine, through syndrome differentiation and treatment, prepares raw rehmannia, ophiopogon and japonicus rice porridge with the effects of clearing heat and detoxifying, clearing the throat and relieving sore throat to treat pharyngitis, with good results.

Raw Rehmannia and Ophiopogon japonicus rice porridge: 10-15 grams of raw rehmannia, 30-35 grams of shikui, 20-30 grams of Ophiopogon japonicus, 20-30 grams of Adenophora australis, 20-40 grams of raw yam, 15-25 grams of Pseudostellaria heterophylla, 15-20 grams of lily, 60 grams of fresh reed root, 60-80 grams of coix seed, 50-60 grams of japonica rice, and 50-70 grams of white sugar. Add all the ingredients into the pot and boil for 1 hour, then add sugar and serve.
