Chest acne

Generally speaking, acne occurs on the face. Actually, it is not. Acne will appear on our skin as long as it is infected by bacteria or has acne. Whether it’s the back, face, or even the chest, acne can appear. Although chest acne is invisible to most people, everyone still wants to eliminate it. So, how do you treat chest acne?

Acne is a disease belonging to folliculitis. Its symptoms are divided into purulent and non-purulent. It is more common in people with low immunity or diabetes, and is prone to occur on the chest, back, head, and neck. Treatment methods include systemic, immune, local, and special effects therapies. Prevention includes leading a regular life, eating less spicy food, paying attention to cleanliness, and actively exercising.

Acne on the chest: Acne on the chest is mostly considered a symptom of folliculitis. The chest is a common site for folliculitis, which occurs in people of all ages.

Causes of Folliculitis

The pathogens that cause folliculitis are mainly Staphylococcus aureus, occasionally Staphylococcus epidermidis, Streptococcus, Pseudomonas and Escherichia coli. Injuries caused by pulling, rubbing, and scratching of hair, skin immersion, local honey sealants and the use of corticosteroids are the causes of folliculitis.

Folliculitis Symptoms

Folliculitis is an inflammation caused by pyogenic cocci invading the area around the hair follicle opening and is limited to the upper part of the hair follicle. It is divided into purulent and non-purulent folliculitis. It initially presents as red, solid papules, which then rapidly develop into papular pustules, followed by drying and crusting, and the scabs fall off without leaving any traces. The rashes are numerous but not fused, and cause itching or mild pain. Folliculitis often occurs in the hairy areas of adults; in children, it often occurs in the hair areas, and small patches of baldness may remain after healing.
