Abdominal mass A progressively enlarging abdominal mass is the most common symptom and is often discovered accidentally when dressing or bathing the child. When the tumor is huge, it may cause compression symptoms, such as shortness of breath, loss of appetite, weight loss, and irritability. After rapidly increasing in size, it may cross the midline in a few cases.

Hematogenous metastasis can spread to all parts of the body, with lung metastasis being the most common, and may cause cough, pleural effusion, chest pain, low-grade fever, anemia, and cachexia.

6. Extrarenal Wilms tumor is rare and may be located in the retroperitoneum or inguinal region and may be part of a complex teratoma. Other sites include the posterior mediastinum, pelvis, and sacrococcygeal region.

7. General symptoms include weakness, fatigue, irritability, weight loss, loss of appetite, etc. Fever is also common.
