1. Tuberculosis

2. Diabetes

The main reason for excessive sweating in diabetic patients is autonomic nervous system dysfunction and sympathetic nerve excitement, which leads to increased secretion of sweat glands. Secondly, increased blood sugar metabolism rate is also one of the reasons for excessive sweating in diabetic patients.

3. Tumor

Night sweats are also a common symptom in patients with cancer, such as lymphoma. If you find that in addition to night sweats, you are also experiencing weight loss, constant fatigue, and swollen lymph nodes, you need to consider the possibility of lymphoma and see a doctor as soon as possible.

4. Cardiovascular disease

It is understood that obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. can increase the risk of night sweats in women, and these diseases will increase cardiovascular risks.

5. Other diseases

In addition, diseases such as hypertension, menopausal syndrome, hypoglycemia, systemic lupus erythematosus, endocarditis, as well as physical weakness, mental tension, and psychological pressure after surgery may cause night sweats. However, most night sweats are caused by autonomic nervous system dysfunction, and its pathogenesis is mainly due to abnormal excitement of the sympathetic nerves.
