1. Fungal nail infection

2. Caused by pigmented nevus, melanoma, etc.

The black nails may turn black in bands, single or multiple. It can be caused by benign pigmented nevi in ​​the nail matrix, malignant melanoma, subungual hemorrhage, certain drugs such as lead poisoning, arsenic poisoning and silver poisoning, and some have a genetic tendency.

 

3. Blood disease or onychomycosis

It is probably a blood disease. You should go to a regular hospital for some detailed examination. The appearance of streaks, if not all over the fingers, is a sign of a lack of some trace element. Blackening accompanied by brittle and falling nails is likely to be onychomycosis. Seek medical attention quickly to prevent infection.

3. Sub-health causes

Vertical black lines on the nails indicate unhealthy body and need to be treated for sub-health condition. There may be four reasons:

2. Poor immunity.
