It has a good effect on chronic gastroenteritis, myasthenia gravis, chronic hepatitis, etc. However, the modified Buzhong Yiqi Decoction is suitable for patients with nasal polyps due to deficiency of lung and spleen qi.

Buzhong Yiqi Tang Jiajian Fang is a traditional Chinese medicine prescription, which is mainly used for nasal polyps of lung and spleen deficiency type, with symptoms of clear or thin white runny nose, pale or pale polyps, or repeated recurrence after surgery, accompanied by fatigue, easy to catch cold; pale tongue with white coating, and slow and weak pulse.

[Composition] 10 grams of ginseng, 30 grams of astragalus, 20 grams of white atractylodes, 15 grams of cimicifuga, 12 grams of bupleurum, 10 grams of angelica, 15 grams of tangerine peel, 9 grams of processed pinellia, 12 grams of calamus, 20 grams of poria, and 30 grams of coix seed.

[Preparation method] Boil the above medicinal waters to obtain the medicinal juice.

[Use] It is suitable for nasal polyps of lung and spleen deficiency type, with symptoms of clear or thin white runny nose, pale or pale polyps, or repeated recurrence after surgery, accompanied by fatigue, susceptibility to colds; pale tongue with white coating, and slow and weak pulse.

[Usage] Take 1 dose per day, divided into 2 times. If the nasal congestion is severe, add 30 grams of Xanthium sibiricum, 5 grams of Asarum, and 15 grams of Magnolia flower; if you are prone to colds, add 15 grams of Saposhnikovia divaricata; if the polyps are dark red, add 12 grams of peach kernel, 10 grams of Trillium, and 10 grams of Curcuma. For nasal congestion, use Biyanling (60g each of Xanthium sibiricum, Angelica dahurica, and Magnolia officinalis, 5g of peppermint cream, 500g of sesame oil, and 1000g of liquid paraffin.

Buzhong Yiqi Decoction is the name of a Chinese medicine prescription. It is a tonic agent with the effects of tonifying the middle and replenishing Qi, raising yang and lifting the sunken. It is mainly used to treat spleen deficiency and qi deficiency syndrome. Decreased appetite, fatigue, weak limbs, shortness of breath, laziness to speak, sallow complexion, loose stools, pale tongue, weak pulse; as well as rectal prolapse, uterine prolapse, chronic diarrhea and dysentery, metrorrhagia, etc. It is commonly used clinically to treat visceral prolapse, chronic gastroenteritis, chronic bacillary dysentery, rectal prolapse, myasthenia gravis, chyluria, chronic hepatitis, etc.; gynecological treatment of uterine prolapse, pregnancy and postpartum urinary retention, fetal movement disorder, menorrhagia; ophthalmology treatment of ptosis of eyelids, paralytic strabismus, etc. due to spleen and stomach qi deficiency or sinking of middle qi.
