Zuojin Pill Composition

Dosage

1. Ancient usage: Grind the above ingredients into powder and make pills with water or steam cake. Take 50 pills each time, with white soup.

2. Modern usage: Grind into powder, make into pills with water, take 3g each time, swallow with boiled water. Or make it into decoction, decocted in water and taken orally, the dosage shall be determined according to the original recipe.

Liver fire ascends along the meridians, resulting in a bitter taste in the mouth. A red tongue with yellow coating and a stringy and rapid pulse are signs of liver depression turning into fire. The syndrome is liver depression transforming into fire. The stomach is affected by the disease. The treatment should be to clear away liver fire, reduce adverse reactions and stop vomiting.

The bitter and cold coptis root is used as the main ingredient in the prescription.
