Nasopharyngeal tumor

Nasopharyngeal tumor

The nasopharyngeal tumor is likely to be a benign tumor, and it cannot be ruled out that it is caused by hypertrophy of the nasopharyngeal glands. It is necessary to go to a regular hospital for nasal endoscopy and pharyngoscopy in time. If necessary, it can be sent for a pathological biopsy, which can effectively determine whether it is benign or malignant.

1. Tumor: In the early stage of a tumor, it is very likely that the nasal mucosa is too dry, or there is often chronic inflammation. After being stimulated, obvious bloody secretions are likely to appear. Tumors are also likely to occur after a long period of unhealed condition. You can do pathological examination or nasal endoscopy in time. If the surface of the tumor is smooth, it is likely to be a rhinitis cyst, not necessarily a tumor. If it is a cyst, you can follow the doctor's advice to take anti-inflammatory drugs to improve it, such as amoxicillin. If it is caused by a tumor, you can do a resection surgery under nasal endoscopy monitoring in time to avoid getting worse.

2. Gland hypertrophy: It is very likely that the upper respiratory tract infection will cause the glands to become congested and edematous in a short period of time. The patient may feel a foreign body, have difficulty breathing and snoring when sleeping, and have symptoms such as nasal congestion. You can follow the doctor's advice in time and take oral cefixime and amoxicillin, which can effectively improve local swelling. Go to the hospital regularly for nasal endoscopy while taking the medicine. If it is not controlled for a long time, it may become permanent.
