What's wrong with the swelling of teeth?

The condition of teeth directly affects the human diet, so many people pay great attention to their teeth, and healthy and clean teeth can also improve everyone's image, but there are many dental diseases, so everyone should do a good job of daily care to avoid the occurrence of diseases. Some people will have swelling of teeth, which seriously affects the patient's mood. So what is the matter with swelling of teeth?

First, what is the reason for the swelling of teeth ? Toothache is the main symptom of this disease. In the early stages, the gums will itch, feel uncomfortable, and cause bad breath, followed by redness, swelling, looseness, easy bleeding, and pain, which will recur repeatedly. Over time, the periodontal membrane between the gums and the roots of the teeth is destroyed, forming a bag called a periodontal pocket. Pus often overflows from the pocket, and the inflammation continues to expand, which may become a periodontal abscess. The condition worsens, with local pain and swelling. It is hard at first, then becomes soft and has a fluctuating feeling. It may break through on its own and pus may flow out. After the pus flows out, the pain may be relieved, or it may recur and be very painful.

Second, precautions for self-treatment (1) Pay attention to oral hygiene and develop a good habit of "brushing teeth in the morning and evening, and rinsing mouth after meals". (2) If tooth decay is discovered, treat it promptly. (3) Avoid eating sugar, biscuits or other starchy foods before going to bed. (4) It is advisable to eat more foods that can clear stomach fire and liver fire, such as pumpkin, watermelon, water chestnut, celery, roca, etc. (5) Avoid alcohol and hot foods. (6) A quick temper and being easily angered can cause toothache, so it is advisable to keep an open mind and a calm mood. (7) Keep bowel movements smooth and prevent fecal toxins from rising. (8) Avoid eating hard food, and avoid eating sour, cold, or hot food.

Third, the swollen and painful gums may be caused by apical periodontitis or periodontitis. Take anti-inflammatory medicine for a few days to see if it improves. If there is no improvement, you need to go to the oral department for examination. If it is caused by apical periodontitis, root canal treatment will be required. The above conditions will disappear after the treatment is completed. If it is caused by periodontitis, you need to clean your teeth and apply medicine. At the same time, clean your teeth regularly to prevent recurrence.

What's going on with the swollen teeth? It may be gingivitis. There is a simple method, which is beneficial and harmless whether it is gingivitis or not. It can prevent inflammation if there is inflammation, and strengthen teeth if there is no inflammation. 1. After brushing your teeth, put a certain amount of water in the toothbrush cup (put the toothbrush head downward into the cup, and the water should be half of the toothbrush head), then, put in an appropriate amount of salt (not too much, just sprinkle a little), and immerse the toothbrush head downward. 2. Next time you brush your teeth, do not pour out the salt water, just add water and brush your teeth (use toothpaste). 3. Repeat step 1, which utilizes the bactericidal and anti-inflammatory effects of salt.
