I was caught off guard by the sudden stomachache, and this method of traditional Chinese medicine relieved it and I felt better immediately!

What to do if you have stomachache? Most patients with stomach problems have had this experience: stomach pain often comes unexpectedly during working hours, and there are no medicines around, so they make themselves feel miserable, but the stomach pain still cannot be relieved. Here are some simple and easy methods that we hope can help you relieve the pain.

1. Spiritual Victory

Be sure to stay calm when stomach pain occurs. Try your best to endure the pain, sit calmly on a chair, then slowly regulate your breathing, slowly inhale until you can't inhale anymore, and then slowly exhale. Repeat this for about 10 to 20 minutes, and the pain will be relieved or stop.

2. Relax your abdomen

When you have stomach pain, try to loosen your belt. This will ensure smooth flow of gastric gas and make your abdomen feel more comfortable. People who often suffer from stomach pain should try to wear comfortable and loose clothes to avoid abdominal pressure.

3. Eat something

Stomach pain is often caused by hunger. At this time, if there is soft food, eating some, such as bread, biscuits, etc., is very helpful, but don't drink milk or eat hard things. You can buy some soda crackers and put them in your desk in case of emergency.

4. Give some warmth

People with cold stomachs often suffer from attacks due to stimulation from cold food. At this time, drinking some hot water or applying a hot water bag to the stomach for a while will have a more obvious effect.

5. Acupuncture

Rub Nei Guan: Nei Guan acupoint is located in the middle of the wrist, about three horizontal fingers (the width of three fingers put together) away from the transverse wrist line, and the acupoint is located between the two tendons. Use your thumbs to massage and circle the area 36 times, alternating between your hands. When pain occurs, increase the number to 200 times.

Press Zusanli: Zusanli is located three inches below the edge of the knee (equivalent to the width of four fingers put together), between the tibia and fibula. Press the Zusanli point with the tips of your thumbs, 36 times at normal times. When it hurts, you can rub it about 200 times, with a slightly heavier pressure.

Massage the abdomen: Cross your hands, with the right hand on top and the left hand on the bottom for men; the left hand on top and the right hand on the bottom for women. With the navel as the center, rub the abdomen to draw the Tai Chi diagram, 36 circles clockwise and 36 circles counterclockwise. This method can relieve pain and bloating and increase appetite.

6. Exercise therapy

Kneeling forward: Kneel on both knees, with your knees to toes touching the ground, keep your upper body upright, and let your hands hang naturally. Sit down slowly until your weight is completely on your ankles, place your hands naturally on your knees, and keep breathing normally. Hold this position for about 30 seconds, relax, and then lean your upper body forward. Repeat 3 to 5 times. This movement helps eliminate bloating, gastrointestinal syndrome (such as gastrointestinal cramps, diarrhea, etc.), and can also strengthen the thigh muscles.

Push-ups: Lie prone (on the bed or floor), relax your whole body, touch your forehead to the ground, straighten your legs, bend your hands and place them level with your shoulders, with your elbows close to your body and your palms facing down. Support yourself with your hands, and lift your head and chest, keeping your legs still on the ground, until you feel your chest and abdomen fully expanded. Hold this position for about 10 seconds. Repeat 3 to 5 times. This can eliminate bloating, relieve constipation, exercise the back muscles, and is helpful for spinal correction.

Standing bent knees: Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, place your hands lightly on your knees, and bend your body slightly forward. Take a deep breath, and when you exhale, slowly contract your abdominal muscles so that they become concave, but don't force it, otherwise you will feel uncomfortable. Maintain this position for 5 to 20 seconds without holding your breath, then expel the gas from your lungs and relax your muscles. Repeat 4 to 7 times. This movement is very helpful in relieving indigestion and constipation.

7. Drug treatment effect

It is worth reminding that the choice of medicine is very important. You should take the medicine according to your own situation or follow the doctor's instructions to avoid adverse consequences of adjusting the medication yourself.
