How to deal with blisters caused by cupping?

Traditional Chinese medicine treatment includes many methods, not just Chinese medicine treatment. Relatively speaking, some traditional Chinese medicine physical therapies are widely used in life. Take cupping for example, it has many effects. Sometimes it can not only drive away the heat in the body, but more importantly, it can also drive away the fatigue in the body. There are many people who like cupping, and the convenience of the tools is also improving. So, how to deal with blisters from cupping?

If it is a burn and the blisters are not big, just treat it as a general burn. No special treatment is needed and it will usually recover on its own.

If the blisters are large and painful, after regular iodine and alcohol disinfection, use a syringe to pierce the edge of the blister to draw out the water, and apply iodine tincture, erythromycin ointment, etc. to prevent and control infection.

Eat a healthy diet, keep the area clean, avoid adverse stimulation, and use amoxicillin and other preventive measures to control infection when necessary. Specific instructions should be followed by the clinician.

If the blisters are not very large and have not ruptured, the following Chinese medicine external application prescriptions can also be used for treatment:

1. 1 part salt and 2 parts cold boiled water. Put salt into water, stir well and soak gauze in it. Then apply it to the burns and scalds and change it at any time.

2. Appropriate amount of raw rhubarb. Grind rhubarb into fine powder, add appropriate amount of sesame oil, mix into a paste, apply to the affected area, wrap it with gauze, and change the dressing once a day.

In addition, try not to touch the blistered area with your hands, wear loose clothes and do not let them stick to the affected area, eat a light diet, and eat more fresh fruits and vegetables.
