How to treat breast calcification?

How to treat breast calcification?

The breast is a relatively important part of the female body and is also an important part for feeding children. Breast diseases are very critical to female health. Breast cluster calcification is a relatively common breast disease. Patients with breast cluster calcification need to undergo detailed examinations and treatment in a timely manner. It can be treated through surgery, and you should pay more attention to observation in normal times.

How to treat breast calcification?

For clustered calcification, active surgical biopsy is recommended. About 20% of the cases are diagnosed as breast cancer. This must be paid attention to and cannot be ignored. The possibility of malignancy must be ruled out. It is especially important to pay attention to maintaining emotional stability and avoiding excessive emotional fluctuations. Problems will arise if you are in a state of excessive tension and anxiety for a long time.

How to prevent breast cancer?

1. Get your body moving

Exercise can reduce the incidence of breast cancer in women before and after menopause by 60%. Studies show that women who exercise at least four hours a week have a 37% lower risk of breast cancer.

2. Understand your family medical history

Of all breast cancer cases, 15% have a family history. If one of your immediate family members has had breast cancer, your chance of getting the disease is twice that of the general population. If two of your immediate family members have had the disease, your chance of getting breast cancer is five times that of others.

3. Quit smoking and drinking

There is an enzyme in the human body that can reduce the effects of carcinogenic toxins in tobacco. Some women have low activity of this enzyme, so once they smoke, they are more likely to develop breast cancer than others. Drinking is much more harmful to women than men. The risk of breast cancer for drinkers is more than 45% higher than that for non-drinkers. Therefore, it is important to quit smoking and drinking.

4. Ensure at least 6 hours of sleep every night

Postmenopausal women who sleep less than six hours a night have twice the risk of breast cancer as women who get enough sleep.

5. Do housework

Doing some physical activity at home is the most effective way to prevent breast cancer.

6. Don’t take diet pills randomly

The principle of most weight loss pills is to dehydrate the body. Long-term use will not only fail to reduce weight but will also cause endocrine disorders. Medically, it is generally believed that reduced progesterone secretion, relatively increased estrogen, and elevated prolactin will lead to benign hyperplasia of the breast stroma and increase the risk of cancer.

7. Walk for an hour every day

From the perspective of health preservation, exercising for one hour every day can keep you healthy and live a long life. This makes sense. Take breast cancer as an example. Health experts recommend that everyone walk outdoors for one hour every day. Physical exercise is one of the best ways to help women protect their breast health and prevent breast cancer. Among all the sports, the most cost-effective and stress-free one is undoubtedly walking outdoors!

8. Eat cauliflower

A study by the Harvard School of Public Health found that women who eat more vegetables such as cauliflower, cabbage, and broccoli can reduce the incidence and recurrence rates of breast cancer by 62% and 35%, respectively. The vitamin C, carotenoids and polyphenols in these vegetables can play a key anti-cancer role.

9. Don’t have children too late

Many urban women are unwilling to have children or postpone having children until after the age of 30 due to their busy work pace and the need to maintain their figure. This is very undesirable. Because this is likely to make them lose an opportunity to enhance their ability to resist breast cancer. Why do we say so? A woman's first full-term pregnancy can cause a series of changes in the mammary epithelium and make it mature, making the epithelial cells more resistant to gene mutations. At the same time, a large amount of progesterone is produced. Progesterone is very useful for protecting breast health and is the "enemy" of estrogen. Estrogen causes breast tissue to proliferate, and progesterone comes out to "reduce swelling."
