1. Plantago has the effect of reducing swelling and removing toxins: Plantago can clear away heat and fire, eliminate carbuncles, and has a certain effect on relieving high fever and irritability. It often has a very good effect on influenza, respiratory tract infections, tonsillitis, and mumps.

2. Ground ivy has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects: Modern pharmacology shows that ground ivy can treat enteritis, nephritis, hepatitis, acute appendicitis, conjunctivitis, dysentery and other purulent infections caused by bacterial infections.

3. The herb has the effect of quickly reducing swelling: The herb has the effect of quickly reducing swelling caused by various infections, and can treat swelling, mastitis, ulcers, furuncles, etc.

4. Ground ivy can treat centipede bites: take the juice of fresh ground ivy orally, or add a little realgar and mash it for external use.

3. Usage and dosage of ground grass

1. Oral administration: decoct in water and take, 0.5-1 liang (2-3 liang for fresh); mash into juice or grind into powder.

2. For external application: mash and apply or boil into plaster.

3. Additional prescription:

(1) Herba Lycoris Radiatae is used to treat carbuncle and boils: Mash herba Lycoris Radiatae, onion roots and pure raw honey into a juice and drink it.

(2) Bitter gentian herb is used to treat subacute infectious hepatitis: Take 1 liang of bitter gentian herb and decoct it in water.

(3) Herba Lycoris Radiatae is used to treat enteritis or dysentery: 1 liang each of Herba Lycoris Radiatae and Herba Lycoris Radiatae, 2 liang of Herba Antes, and 3 qian of Radix Bupleuri. Take it by soaking.

(4) Herba Lycoris Radiatae for treating suppurative infection: Take 1-2 grams each of Herba Lycoris Radiatae, dandelion flowers and Herba Lobeliae, decoct in water and drink orally; the residue can be applied externally. Take 2 liang each of fresh ground clove and fresh wild chrysanthemum, mash them into juice and take it twice; the residue can be used externally. Add equal amounts of fresh plantain grass and fresh clove flowers, add a small amount of table salt, mash them and apply them to the wound. In addition, use 2-3 taels of plantain grass and decoct them in water for oral administration.

4. Taboos of taking physalis

People with weak and cold constitution do not need to take it.
