Eczema is a common skin disease. There are many causes of eczema, which is related to allergies. Eczema often recurs and is very harmful to people. In addition, there are many types of eczema. It is not easy to judge eczema. The best way is to go to the hospital for a routine blood test, allergen test, etc. This is the best way to confirm the diagnosis. 1. Acute eczema (1) Acute onset: skin lesions consist of erythema, papules, and blisters. They are clustered into flakes, and scratching often causes erosion, exudation, scabs, suppuration, etc., with unclear edges and often symmetrical distribution. (2) Severe itching. After the inflammation of acute lesions is alleviated and the exudate is reduced, the course of the disease changes. 2. Subacute eczema The skin lesions are mainly papules, scales and crusts, with only a few papulovesicles, characterized by punctate erosions and mild infiltration. 3. Chronic eczema (1) It may be caused by repeated attacks of acute eczema or may become chronic from the beginning. (2) It is common on the face, behind the ears, elbows, dimples, calves, vulva and anus, and is accompanied by severe itching. (3) The skin lesions are relatively localized, with obvious hypertrophy and infiltration, clear boundaries, and often pigmentation. (4) The course of the disease is chronic, with frequent acute attacks. 4. Self-sensitive eczema (1) Before the onset of the disease, eczema often exists in a certain part of the skin. (2) After 7 to 10 days, numerous scattered papules, papulovesicles and small blisters suddenly appear all over the body, which are symmetrically distributed and have the same type of reaction. (3) After the primary lesion improves, the skin lesions throughout the body will naturally alleviate and disappear. (4) Severe itching. 5. Infectious eczematoid dermatitis (1) There are primary suppurative lesions near the site of onset. (2) The skin lesions are centered on the purulent lesion and spread outward, manifesting as erythema, blisters, pustules, erosions, scabs, etc. It progresses rapidly, is asymmetrical, and is often distributed in a band along the direction of scratching. Diagnostic tests A routine blood test can show many functional levels in the human body. Various indicators in the human blood can directly reflect the immune level and degree of the disease of eczema patients. The number of white blood cells decreases during the course of eczema. Allergen examination: Eczema is an allergic disease, mainly caused by allergies. If there is no clear allergen, treatment is meaningless. Then the treatment of eczema requires allergen testing. The examination is not complicated and only requires a blood test. Detecting allergens is crucial for the thorough treatment of eczema. Histopathological examination showed that acute eczema was manifested by sponge formation in the epidermis, dilation of superficial capillaries in the dermis, infiltration of lymphocytes around the vessels, and a small number of neutrophils and eosinophils; chronic eczema was manifested by hyperkeratosis or parakeratosis, obvious thickening of the stratum spinosum, thickening of the capillary walls in the superficial dermis, and coarsening of collagen fibers. |
