According to traditional Chinese medicine, there are 12 main meridians in the human body, and 6 of them are connected to the palms, namely the Hand Shaoyin Heart Meridian, Hand Jueyin Pericardium Meridian, Hand Taiyang Small Intestine Meridian, Hand Shaoyang Triple Burner Meridian, Hand Taiyin Lung Meridian and Hand Yangming Large Intestine Meridian. If you clap your hands frequently, it can help the human body replenish enough oxygen, protect the normal cells of the human body, inhibit the replication of cancer cells, and help patients relieve all chronic diseases. For example, headaches, dizziness, palpitations, obesity, neurasthenia, skin diseases, constipation, cold hands and feet, etc.

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that there are many acupuncture points on the human hands. Clapping the palms can stimulate the acupuncture points, promote the smooth flow of qi and blood throughout the body, and help prevent various diseases, such as constipation/insomnia, high blood pressure, etc. When clapping, the movements should be slow and with moderate force, and it is best to clap 30 times each time. There are two main ways to clap:

1. Basic clapping techniques

That is the common way of clapping, palm to palm, and finger to finger. Be sure to separate the ten fingers. Start by clapping lightly and gradually increase the strength.

2. Clap your hands

Some people find the sound of clapping too loud to be acceptable. In this case, you can try the following method: arch your palms, spread your fingers, and then clap your hands so that your fingers and palms touch each other. However, the striking surface of this method is smaller and the effect is relatively worse, so it is better to extend the practice time of this action.

Hit the mouth flatly 36 times to hit the Hegu point of the large intestine meridian. It can be used to prevent and treat facial diseases such as blurred vision, rhinitis, oral pain, headache and prevent colds.

Use your palm to strike sideways 36 times, and you can hit the Small Intestine Meridian - Houxi acupoint. This method helps relieve head and neck pain and helps patients relieve neck discomfort.

Hit your wrists against each other 36 times to strike the Daling point on the Heart Meridian and Pericardium Meridian. It can be used to prevent and treat heart disease, chest pain, chest tightness, and relieve tension.

What is the mechanism of clapping for fitness and treatment?

1. Like hands and feet, there are many important acupoints. Clapping your hands can strongly massage and stimulate the acupoints, which is similar to the effect of acupuncture.

2. The strong vibration of clapping can unblock the meridians. Half of the twelve main meridians in the body are on the hands, such as the Hand Shaoyin Heart Meridian, Hand Taiyin Lung Meridian, Hand Jueyin Pericardium Meridian, Hand Yangming Large Intestine Meridian, Hand Shaoyang Triple Burner Meridian, and Hand Taiyang Small Intestine Meridian.

3. Like hands and feet, hands have reflex areas and holographic areas of various organs in the body. For example, the thumb is equivalent to the lungs, the index finger is the spleen and stomach, the middle finger is the heart, the ring finger is the liver, and the little finger is the kidney. Clapping and vibrating your hands and massaging your fingers is equivalent to massaging the corresponding organs.
