Treatment methods for heart disease, first aid measures to ensure safety

More and more people are suffering from heart disease. There are many types of heart disease, the most common ones are coronary heart disease, rheumatic heart disease, congenital heart disease and heart disease caused by hypertension. Heart disease patients and their families should learn more about the first aid measures for the disease.

1. During an acute attack of myocardial infarction, the patient should rest in bed and move as little as possible.

2. Keep quiet in the room and do not cry or shout, so as not to irritate the patient and worsen the condition. At the same time, contact the emergency center immediately.

3. While waiting for the ambulance, if the patient suffers from heart failure, shortness of breath, vomits a lot of pink foamy sputum, or is too obese, the chest tightness will be aggravated if the patient keeps his head low and feet high. The patient can only be helped to a semi-recumbent or sitting position.

4. If the patient's pulse is weak and his limbs are cold, which indicates that shock may occur, the patient should be gently laid flat on the bed without the pillow to increase blood flow. Let the patient take drugs such as nitroglycerin, nitroglycerin or Suhexiang pills sublingually.

5. People who are restless can take sedatives such as diazepam , but should not drink too much water and should fast. Loosen your collar and belt, breathe oxygen if possible, and keep warm. If the patient's pulse suddenly disappears, chest compression and artificial respiration should be performed immediately. Do not stop halfway and must continue until the patient is sent to the hospital for emergency treatment.

6. Recently, there is a new first aid method for sudden heart attack abroad - coughing, you can also try it. Research shows that if a person can control the duration and intensity of their coughing when they have a sudden heart attack, the heart will act like a pump, pumping blood to the brain and other organs throughout the body, thus providing some relief, thereby buying precious time for the patient, helping the patient maintain consciousness, and even restoring effective heartbeat to a certain extent. When a person has a sudden attack, he should cough once every 1 to 2 seconds, and he can stop after coughing 5 times. However, this should not be done if you have high blood pressure or if your doctor suspects you have cerebrovascular disease.
