What to do if facial nerve necrosis

In our eyes, our face refers to how big our eyes are, how straight our nose is, what our mouth looks like, and what its proportions are. This is what we mean when we say looking at a face is looking at its appearance. But from a medical point of view, our face is made up of various nerve tissues. The facial nerve structure is complex. If you are not careful, it may cause facial nerve necrosis and lead to facial paralysis and other phenomena. So what should you do if you find facial nerve necrosis?

Necrosis is most likely caused by inflammation, trauma and some other reasons. In the case of facial nerve necrosis, it is recommended that you go to a local hospital for treatment and complete relevant examinations as soon as possible.

Inflammation is a very common and important basic pathological process. Traumatic infections on the body surface and most common and frequently occurring diseases of various organs (such as furuncle, carbuncle, pneumonia, hepatitis, nephritis, etc.) are all inflammatory diseases. The defensive response of living tissues with a vascular system to damaging factors is called inflammation.

Inflammation The reaction of the body to damaged local tissues is called inflammatory response.

1: According to the duration, it is divided into acute and chronic. Acute inflammation has redness, swelling, pain and other symptoms as its main symptoms, that is, it is an inflammation mainly caused by the reaction of the vascular system. Local blood vessels dilate, blood flows slowly, and blood components such as plasma and neutrophils seep into tissues. The infiltration is mainly centered in the veins, but the infiltration of high molecular substances such as protein cannot be explained simply by the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the blood vessels and the pressure difference of the colloid osmotic pressure. Here, the role of various substances that can enhance vascular permeability is emphasized. These substances mainly include: (1) Amines such as histamine and 5-hydroxytryptamine that can cause immediate reactions after inflammatory stimulation. (2) Peptides represented by bradykinin, lysyl-kallidin, and methionyl-lysyl-bradykinin. Their common characteristics are that they can cause hyperpermeability of blood vessels, contraction of smooth muscles, dilation of blood vessels, and promotion of migration of leukocytes. The structures of bradykinin and lysylbradykinin have been determined. (3) Proteases such as plasmin, kallikrein, and globulin permeability factor (globulin-PF) cannot themselves act as agents for vascular permeability. But it can convert kininogen into kinin and exert its effect. However, the site of action of these substances on blood vessels and their mechanism of action are mostly unclear.

2: Inflammation can be classified into the following categories based on the main tissue changes: (1) Degenerative inflammation. (2) Exudative inflammation (serous inflammation, fibrinous inflammation, suppurative inflammation, hemorrhagic inflammation, necrotizing inflammation, catarrhal inflammation). (3) Proliferative inflammation. (4) Specific inflammation (tuberculosis, syphilis, leprosy, lymphogranuloma, etc.)
