What to do if your lower body is dry

Some women always feel dryness in their lower body, so much so that their vagina becomes dry during sexual intercourse. Vaginal dryness is a common type of gynecological disease. It refers to a significant decrease in female vaginal secretions, also known as "vaginal dryness". In traditional Chinese medicine, this disease belongs to the concept of "vaginal dampness and heat". There are many reasons for vaginal dryness, such as childbirth, breastfeeding, or menopause.

1. Causes of vaginal dryness in women

1. Vaginal dryness has many causes, including childbirth, breastfeeding, emotional stress, menopause, environmental changes, insufficient foreplay, vaginal inflammation, etc. During sex, when a woman's sexual desire is aroused, the glands in the vagina will secrete a liquid as a lubricant. If this process is disrupted and the vagina is not fully lubricated, sexual intercourse will cause pain and discomfort.

2. If female hormones decline, it will cause autonomic nervous system dysfunction. Clinical symptoms such as hot flashes, sweating, palpitations and insomnia are the reflection of this dysfunction. At this time, the sexual organs also change, the most prominent of which is the atrophy of the labia majora and minora, the thinning of the vaginal mucosa, vaginal atrophy, and the reduction of vaginal secretions. In addition, the pH value of the vagina tends to be alkaline, which is conducive to the reproduction of pathogenic bacteria and causes vaginitis, periurethritis, etc. Therefore, sexual intercourse feels dry and painful and cannot lead a normal sexual life. Vaginal dryness is the most common symptom in women.

3. It is generally believed that vaginal dryness in women is caused by insufficient sexual arousal. In fact, in addition to insufficient foreplay, "small mistakes" in the body can also lead to dryness in women.

4. Many women think that leucorrhea is dirty and often do deep vaginal washing repeatedly. However, it is this excessive cleaning that causes the vagina to be unable to retain the necessary secretions and beneficial bacteria, resulting in vaginal dryness.

5. In addition to vaginal dryness, if women also have inflammation of the corners of their mouth, dry skin, and desquamation, it indicates an unbalanced diet, especially a lack of vitamin B2. This condition can lead to dryness of the vaginal walls, congestion of the mucosa, and even ulceration.

6. If women over 35 years old frequently have irregular menstruation over a period of time, it may mean endocrine disorders, which can also lead to a decrease in vaginal secretions.

2. What to eat to improve vaginal dryness

1. Taking vitamin B2 can treat and prevent vaginal dryness. In general, symptoms can be improved by eating food. If the symptoms are severe, vitamin B2 tablets can be taken.

2. Foods rich in vitamin B2 include: milk, meat, dairy products, animal liver and kidneys, egg yolk, and eel. Vegetables: carrots, mushrooms, seaweed, celery. Fruits: citrus fruits such as tangerines and oranges.
