Many people don’t know what chicken breast means. When they mention chicken breast, they often only think of the chicken breast we usually eat. In fact, pigeon chest is also a body shape, which mostly refers to the protruding ribs under the clavicle. The common causes of protruding ribs under the clavicle, also known as chicken breast, are calcium deficiency and vitamin D deficiency. To alleviate such problems, calcium supplementation is needed. You can refer to the methods mentioned below. Treatment advice: Sunbathing 1. Remember to sunbathe every day, but not through glass. 2. Walk more in the sun, which is conducive to the synthesis of vitamin D and promotes absorption. Calcium supplementation (1) Calcium supplements should not be taken with plant-based foods because they contain high levels of phytic acid, which affects calcium absorption. (2) Calcium supplements should not be taken with oily foods because the fatty acids produced by the decomposition of oils and fats are not easily absorbed when combined with calcium. (3) Do not eat too much meat and eggs at each meal. They contain a lot of phosphates, which will affect calcium absorption after combining with calcium. (5) Calcium supplementation dosage. Generally, children under 2 years old need 400-600 mg per day, and children aged 3-12 years old need 800-1000 mg per day. According to a normal diet, children only get 2/3 of the calcium they need from food every day, so they must take extra calcium supplements every day to make up for the lack of calcium. If a child lacks vitamin D in the body, the intestinal absorption of calcium will be reduced. The preventive dose of vitamin D is 400 international units per day. Do not take too much, otherwise it will cause poisoning. (6) Eat more foods that are high in calcium or can promote calcium absorption. For example: milk (human milk, cow's milk, goat's milk, etc.) is rich in calcium and can be absorbed well; animal liver, egg yolk, fish, meat and beans are rich in vitamin D, which can promote calcium absorption. However, vitamin D in animals and plants must be converted into endogenous vitamin D through ultraviolet radiation before it can be used by the human body, so children should get some sun exposure. Seafood such as kelp and shrimp skin are high in calcium; seaweed and cauliflower are also rich in calcium. Eating broad beans with the skin can improve calcium absorption; adding bones to vinegar to make soup can increase calcium. Fine vinegar spareribs are also rich in calcium; deep-frying fish and eating it with the bones can increase the calcium content, etc. If breastfeeding mothers often eat these calcium-rich foods, it can increase the calcium content of breast milk and supplement calcium for babies. For infants and children, they should be given these calcium-rich foods regularly to increase calcium intake. |
