What causes sweating on the head?

Many people sweat easily on the top of their heads, especially when the temperature is too high or after a lot of exercise, the top of the head will be covered with sweat. In traditional Chinese medicine, the causes of sweating on the head can be divided into pathological and physiological reasons. Both of the situations mentioned above are physiological sweating. Some men suffer from yang deficiency and are prone to sweating on the top of their heads. This situation requires treatment. As long as the yang deficiency is cured, the top of the head will naturally stop sweating.

1. Causes of sweating on the top of the head

1. Normally, both adults and children are prone to sweating on the top of their heads, especially children who are more likely to sweat when sleeping. This situation is mostly caused by the hot weather. As long as you pay attention to indoor ventilation, this situation will improve.

2. For men, if they often sweat on the top of their head, it is most likely caused by yang deficiency. Especially men with yang deficiency often have symptoms of night sweats. Men need to receive timely treatment to improve this symptom of sweating on the top of their head.

3. Relatively speaking, there are many reasons for sweating on the head, which can be divided into physiological and pathological reasons, especially when the weather is too hot, or sweating after a lot of exercise, which is a physiological phenomenon. The pathological type is also called night sweats, which often occurs when you sweat unconsciously while sleeping at night. Another type of sweating occurs during the day, not due to labor or wearing thick clothes, but often causes profuse sweating after a little exercise.

4. Generally, healthy people tend to have increased secretion of sweat glands when exercising or encountering high temperatures. This is a physiological effect of lowering the rising body temperature. Many people will also find that obese people are more likely to sweat a lot. This is mainly because obese people are overweight and their body temperature is easily raised, so they must regulate their body temperature by sweating.
