The ripe fig fruit is purple-red with a layer of shallow vertical stripes on it. When you open the fig, you will see many seed-like cores inside. What are the specific effects and functions of figs?

Fig, also known as natural fruit, fig fruit, dense fruit, milk fruit, etc., is a plant of the mulberry family. Fig is both an edible fruit and a traditional Chinese medicinal material. "Compendium of Materia Medica" states: "Figs are sweet and mild in taste, non-toxic, and can stimulate the appetite, stop diarrhea, and treat five types of hemorrhoids and sore throat." Figs taste sweet like persimmons but are seedless and rich in nutrients. Every 100 grams of figs contains 81.3 grams of water, 1.5 grams of protein, 0.1 grams of fat, 3 grams of crude fiber, 13 grams of carbohydrates, 1.1 grams of ash, 30 micrograms of carotene, 0.03 mg of thiamine, 0.02 mg of riboflavin, 0.1 mg of niacin, 2 mg of ascorbic acid, 1.82 mg of vitamin E, 212 mg of potassium, 5.5 mg of sodium, 67 mg of calcium, 17 mg of magnesium, 0.1 mg of iron, 0.17 mg of manganese, 1.42 mg of zinc, 0.01 mg of copper, 18 mg of phosphorus, and 0.67 micrograms of selenium. In addition, it also contains citric acid, fumaric acid, succinic acid, malic acid, propionic acid, oxalic acid, quinic acid, lipase, protease and various amino acids essential to the human body.

Figs are good for throat:

Brew two figs with boiling water and drink it frequently instead of tea; dry fresh figs and grind them into powder, then blow it into the throat; boil 15 grams of figs in water, add appropriate amount of rock sugar and drink it frequently instead of tea.

Figs Fight Cancer:

The fruit latex has an inhibitory effect on sarcoma, breast tumor, adenocarcinoma, leukemia and lymphosarcoma. It is clinically used to treat various malignant tumors, including tongue cancer, lung cancer, parotid cancer, gastric cancer, liver cancer, colon cancer, kidney cancer, etc. Recipe: 50 grams of fresh figs, 100 grams of lean meat, stew in water for half an hour, drink the soup and eat the meat. Take it continuously for a period of time, not less than 30 days. You can also use 15 grams of figs, brew it with boiling water and drink it as tea every day.

Figs reduce blood sugar:

Fig water extract has the effect of lowering blood sugar. Recipe: 15 grams of figs and 10 grams of Ningxia wolfberry, add water and boil. Drink as tea, 1 dose per day, and chew figs and wolfberries at the end. You can also use 50 grams of figs and 100 grams of bitter gourd, cut them into slices, add water to boil soup, season it and eat it, take it for 7-10 days.

Figs are good for the stomach:

Fig enzyme mixed with gastric juice can help digestion, but it is best eaten raw. People with poor appetite can chew figs every day, 1 fig each time, 3 times a day, preferably 1 hour before meals. It is also effective for habitual constipation, hemorrhoid bleeding, chronic gastritis and other diseases.
