Groin rash

Groin rash

There are often some problems on the human body that can be seen from the surface of the skin, such as abrasions, redness and swelling, etc., including rash. Rash is a disease caused by external viral infection. Its main manifestation is redness and swelling, and some red acne-like things will appear. The rash can occur in any part of the body, including the groin, so what is groin rash?

Rash, as a skin change, is particularly important in the diagnosis of acute infectious diseases. Based on the appearance and shape of the rash, the disease can sometimes be diagnosed and it can also serve as a basis for taking appropriate treatment measures. Traditional Chinese medicine recommends Wei Fu Cream treatment. Since many rashes are caused by taking medicines and using cosmetics, you need to be careful to identify them.

Based on the symptom description, tinea cruris or eczema is a possibility. I recommend a dermatologist to check for fungi. If positive, tinea cruris is considered, and antifungal treatment is given. If negative, eczema is considered, and anti-allergic treatment is given for observation. It has been 2 years, so pityriasis rosea is not considered.

Summer and autumn are the peak seasons for eczema, which manifests itself as the appearance of large and small red spots and papules on the skin. In severe cases, it can cause skin erosion. The affected areas are mostly located in the skin folds, most commonly in the elbows, armpits and groin areas. People with eczema often suffer from unbearable itching, and the more they scratch, the itchier it becomes.

The cause of eczema is quite complicated, and most patients have allergic constitutions. Western medicine believes that eczema is the most common skin disease related to allergic reactions. You can apply some anti-allergic ointments, such as Pafuo Zhenfu Cream, Fu Qingsong Ointment or Pi Yan Ping Ointment. However, this type of ointment cannot be used for a long time to avoid side effects. You can take anti-allergic drugs such as chlorpheniramine, diphenhydramine, etc. under the guidance of a doctor.

In order to prevent the occurrence of eczema, on the one hand, we should pay attention to avoiding humidity in the living environment, and on the other hand, we should pay attention to a light diet. People with eczema should avoid drinking alcohol and coffee, eating spicy and fried foods, and eat more fruits and vegetables. Eat less hot fruits such as durian, mango, longan, lychee, etc. to avoid "adding fuel to the fire". Patients can eat more heat-clearing and dampness-removing foods such as mung beans, winter melon, lotus seeds, and bitter melon. Summer is rainy and humid, so patients with eczema should try to reduce wading and getting caught in the rain to reduce the body's exposure to external moisture.
