Effects of Ganoderma Lucidum and Panax Notoginseng

Both Ganoderma lucidum and Panax notoginseng are very precious Chinese medicinal materials. After ingestion, these Chinese medicinal materials must have many medicinal values for the human body, and also have certain health-preserving effects. In particular, Ganoderma lucidum has extremely rich medicinal value. For example, it contains certain vitamins and proteins. In addition, if you have a strong altitude reaction, you can also take Ganoderma lucidum to improve it. This medicinal material has a wide range of uses.

Ganoderma lucidum has been used as a medicinal tonic in my country for more than 2,000 years and has been regarded by medical experts of all generations as a magical treasure that can nourish and strengthen the body. In 2000, there were more than 100 known species of Ganoderma fungi, the most widely distributed of which was G. lucidum, followed by G. japonicum. Other species include G. applanatum, G. tsugae and G. capense, all of which are used for medicinal purposes. After a large number of clinical studies, Ganoderma lucidum has different degrees of therapeutic effects on neurasthenia, hyperlipidemia, angina pectoris of coronary heart disease, arrhythmia, Keshan disease, plateau malaise, hepatitis, hemorrhagic fever, indigestion, bronchitis, etc.

It should be noted that simply using Ganoderma lucidum as a dietary therapy does not have a significant preventive and therapeutic effect. It is recommended to use Cassia seed, black oolong, etc. to make Juewu soup tea, a classic Chinese medicine formula tea, which can have a good preventive and therapeutic effect on hyperlipidemia and other diseases. Pharmacological studies have shown that Ganoderma lucidum has multiple biological activities.

It mainly contains amino acids, polypeptides, proteins, fungal lysozyme, as well as carbohydrates (reducing sugars and polysaccharides), ergosterol, triterpenes, coumarin glycosides, volatile oils, stearic acid, benzoic acid, bioalkali, vitamins B2 and C, etc.; spores also contain mannitol and trehalose.

Ganoderma lucidum powder is light brown, tan to purple brown. The hyphae are scattered or stuck together, colorless or light brown, slender, slightly curved, branched, and 2.5 to 6.5 microns in diameter. The spores are brown, oval, truncated at the apex, colorless on the outer wall, with wart-like protrusions on the inner wall, 8 to 12 microns long and 5 to 8 microns wide.

Take 2 g of Ganoderma lucidum powder, add 30 ml of ethanol, heat and reflux for 30 minutes, filter, evaporate the filtrate to dryness, add 2 ml of methanol to the residue to dissolve it, and use it as the test solution. Take another 2 g of Ganoderma lucidum reference medicinal material and prepare a reference medicinal material solution in the same manner. According to the thin layer chromatography test, 4 μl of each of the above two solutions were taken and spotted on the same silica gel G thin layer plate, and the upper layer solution of petroleum ether (60-90°C)-ethyl formate-formic acid (15:5:1) was used as the developing agent. The plate was developed, taken out, dried, and examined under ultraviolet light (365 nm). In the chromatogram of the test sample, fluorescent spots of the same color appear at the corresponding positions in the chromatogram of the control medicinal material.
