2. Exercise

Try to get 20 to 30 minutes of exercise every day. Daily exercise also often helps people sleep, but exercising close to bedtime may disrupt sleep. For best results, exercise should be done five to six hours before bedtime, rather than within two hours of bedtime.

3. Avoid coffee, nicotine, and alcoholic beverages

Avoid drinks containing caffeine, as it can make you stimulant, keep you awake and prevent you from falling asleep. Such as: coffee, chocolate, soda, non-herbal tea, diet pills, and some painkillers, etc. Due to the effects of nicotine, smokers tend to sleep poorly and wake up very early in the morning. Also, alcoholics cannot enter the deep sleep stage. If you want to get a good night's sleep, avoid all of these things at least 6 to 8 hours before bed. Also, try to avoid eating a large meal within two hours of bedtime.

4. Enjoy a relaxing bedtime ritual

A warm bath, reading, or other relaxing daily habits can make it easier to fall asleep. You can choose certain leisure activities that are associated with sleep and make them part of your bedtime ritual.
