What Chinese medicine should I take for liver, spleen and kidney deficiency?

Long-term unhealthy living habits will lead to a gradual weakening of the physical constitution. Many patients go for check-ups due to physical discomfort but no problems are found. However, when they go to Chinese medicine, it is discovered that the liver, spleen and kidneys are weak. This type of spleen and kidney deficiency still needs to be adjusted by Chinese medicine. If the patient does not want to take Chinese medicine, Chinese patent medicine can be used instead. This article introduces the yin deficiency and yang deficiency of the spleen and kidneys respectively. Let’s take a look.

1. What Chinese patent medicine should be taken for spleen and kidney yang deficiency

Spleen and kidney yang deficiency is the name of a syndrome in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is mostly caused by weak constitution resulting in a heavier attack of cold evil, or long-term illness depleting the yang of the spleen and kidney, or prolonged diarrhea damaging the yang of the spleen and kidney, or deficiency of other organs affecting the spleen and kidney. Spleen deficiency and insufficient Yang Qi often cause large intestine dysfunction, which manifests as diarrhea or constipation. Malabsorption syndrome, ulcerative colitis, and habitual constipation often occur or are accompanied by this disease. The treatment of spleen and kidney yang deficiency is mainly based on strengthening the spleen, warming the kidney and replenishing yang. Commonly used Chinese patent medicines include ginseng Jianpi pills, Wubi Yam pills, Jinkui Shenqi pills, etc.
