What to do if white blisters grow on your hands

When Chinese medicine treats diseases, it must first make a strict diagnosis of the condition in order to determine the current state of the condition and what type of condition it is. Many people inexplicably grow small blisters on their hands, and most of the blisters are white. This type of condition may be caused by viral invasion or inflammatory bacterial infection. It depends on what symptoms the blisters have and receive reasonable treatment according to different types.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment for Small Blisters on Hands

Traditional Chinese medicine has a long history of treating this disease. As early as the Ming Dynasty, it was called "ant nest". Since the symptoms are mainly deep blisters, it should be attributed to the dominance of dampness. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment is multi-faceted, combining internal and external treatments with diet and emotional regulation.

1. Internal treatment

① Syndrome of internal excess of dampness and heat

There are often deep blisters on the palms and soles, clustered together, the size of a needle tip, with excruciating itching. When the blisters are broken, yellow and sticky fluid comes out. The patient is accompanied by a red tongue with greasy coating and a slippery and rapid pulse. Treatment should be based on clearing heat and removing dampness.

Medicinal use: Scutellaria baicalensis 10g, Coptis chinensis 10g, Atractylodes lancea 15g, Tangerine peel 10g, Poria 10g, Liuyi powder 10g (wrapped and decocted), raw coix seed 30g, and Cortex Moutan 10g. Take it in decoction, 1 dose per day.

②Spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome

Blisters are scattered on the palms and soles, ranging in size from a needle tip to a grain of corn, translucent, with clear and thin blister fluid, occasional itching, accompanied by a pale and slippery tongue and a moist and slippery pulse. The treatment should be based on the method of strengthening the spleen and removing dampness.

3. Diet therapy

Eat more vegetables and fruits that have the effect of strengthening the spleen and removing dampness, such as yam, sweet potato, winter melon, watermelon, red bean, and pumpkin.

Eat less spicy and greasy food, fatty food, wine and cheese.

4. Others

Reduce contact with soap, alkali, washing powder, detergent, gasoline, alcohol and other substances; keep your emotions open and avoid emotional frustration; do not tear off the shed skin with your hands to prevent contamination and pus.
