Pneumothorax is a serious disease that occurs in people. Generally speaking, after people suffer from pneumothorax, they should pay more attention to the treatment and care measures for pneumothorax.

1. Professional nursing measures.

1. Try to avoid coughing and give cough suppressants if necessary. Reduce activity, keep bowel movements open, avoid holding your breath, and take appropriate bowel movement measures when necessary.

2. Patients with severe chest pain can be given appropriate analgesics. During closed chest drainage, follow the chest drainage care routine.

2. General nursing measures.

Give a high-protein and appropriate amount of crude fiber diet. The patient is in a semi-recumbent position and given oxygen, with the oxygen flow rate generally above 3L/min. Rest in bed.

3. Patient health care measures.

1. Dietary care: eat more high-protein foods, do not be picky or partial to certain foods, and eat appropriate amounts of crude fiber foods.

2. After pneumothorax heals, avoid strenuous exercise, lifting heavy objects, and holding your breath within 1 month.

3. Maintain smooth bowel movements. If bowel movements are not resolved for more than 2 days, effective measures should be taken.

4. Prevent upper respiratory tract infection and avoid severe coughing.
