Transmissible gastroenteritis

Transmissible gastroenteritis

In real life, meat is very nutritious and most people love pork very much. Therefore, many people on pig farms are most concerned about the health of their pigs rather than their own health. In fact, an infectious disease, commonly known as swine flu, appeared in the country a few years ago. This disease was difficult to cure and caused many deaths at that time. Therefore, pig diseases sometimes not only affect the same species but can also be transmitted to humans after being eaten.

Many people do not understand porcine transmissible gastroenteritis and think that the disease can be transmitted to humans, and then leave messages everywhere, causing panic among the people. In fact, porcine transmissible gastroenteritis is only transmitted between pigs and will only cause illness among pigs. Moreover, this disease does not discriminate the age of pigs. Preventive measures: ① In late autumn, winter and early spring, the pig house must be well insulated from cold, the insulation bedding should be thickened and replaced frequently, and the pig house can be heated if necessary.

② When pigs are imported from other places, they must be quarantined and observed for 10 to 15 days, and can only be raised in pens if there is no epidemic.

③Cats, dogs, etc. are strictly prohibited from entering the pig house.

④ Clean and clear the pig house manure and water regularly and promptly. When there is no epidemic, rinse and disinfect with 3%~4% sodium hydroxide solution 1~2 times a week, then rinse with clean water 1~2 times, or spray 50% Baidusha 3000 times solution for disinfection.

⑤ When an epidemic occurs, spray any one of the following: 0.2% peracetic acid solution, 1%~3% bleaching powder solution, and 3000 times diluted Bomet once a day.

⑥ If necessary, disinfect the pig body by spraying any of the following: 1% Baidusha 600 times solution, Qiangli Disinfection King 1000 times solution, and peracetic acid 2000 times solution.

⑦ 25 to 30 days before delivery, 3 ml of inactivated porcine infectious gastroenteritis vaccine should be injected into the posterior ear acupoint of each pregnant sow. Piglets can obtain passive immunity by eating breast milk.

⑧Inject 0.5-1 ml of inactivated virus vaccine into the posterior ear point of each newborn piglet, 2 ml for each pig weighing 10-15 kg, and 3 ml for each pig weighing more than 50 kg, and they can all obtain active immunity.

⑨ Each newborn piglet should be orally given 10 ml of anticoagulant blood or high-immune blood from recovered pigs for 3 consecutive days, which has a good preventive effect.

The very effective preventive measures introduced above are suitable for users who raise pigs frequently. Of course, even if the pigs unfortunately suffer from this disease, farmers do not have to worry. Medical technology is so advanced now that there are many treatments to choose from. Of course, early detection and early treatment, a short course of treatment, and a good cure will result, and the mortality rate will be greatly reduced.
