Chest pain when taking a deep breath

Chest pain when taking a deep breath

People may feel some discomfort during the breathing process, such as pain in breathing and chest pain. This may depend on whether they have been injured before, or have been pressed or squeezed. Such symptoms may occur if they have been injured. It is also possible that the symptoms may be related to personal physical manifestations, such as chest strain, chest inflammation, and other symptoms caused by inflammation of multiple organs.

What are the causes and pathogenesis of diaphragm injury?

The causes of traumatic diaphragm rupture are complex and may include direct penetrating trauma, indirect blunt trauma, chest compression injury, and iatrogenic damage. It is generally believed that the causes of menstrual injuries are divided into two categories: penetrating injuries and blunt injuries.

In peacetime, penetrating lacerations are mostly caused by knife wounds, while blunt injuries are mostly caused by traffic accidents and falls from heights. It often occurs when a vehicle suddenly brakes and decelerates, or when falling from a height or suddenly hitting the abdomen. It is generally believed that there are two mechanisms that lead to diaphragm injury.

(l) Thoracic and abdominal pressure difference: When the thoracic and abdominal cavities are violently squeezed, the intra-abdominal pressure increases sharply, causing the thoracic and abdominal pressure difference to increase significantly (up to 10 times that during quiet breathing), leading to high abdominal pressure or abdominal organs impacting the diaphragm, causing damage to the fasciculus muscles.

(2) Direct violence to the chest and abdomen: When the thorax is compressed, the inner diameter of the thorax in the direction of pressure becomes shorter, while the inner diameter perpendicular to the direction of pressure becomes longer, causing the diaphragm to become tense and rupture. Blunt chest trauma causes a low incidence of diaphragm injury, with a complex condition often associated with multiple systemic injuries, but the injury progresses slowly. Penetrating chest trauma causes a high incidence of diaphragm injury, with a rapid progression of the injury, and hemorrhagic shock is prone to occur in the early stages. Causes and pathogenesis of diaphragm injury

Judging from your symptoms, they don't seem to be caused by diaphragm injury. If you are not accompanied by shortness of breath or chest tightness, it is likely that you have strained your respiratory muscles. Pay more attention to rest and you will get better after a while.

What to do if you have chest pain

Chest pain is considered to be pleurisy or neuralgia, which requires active symptomatic treatment and active chest X-ray or CT examination.

If the symptoms are caused by respiratory tract infection, you can take anti-inflammatory drugs, erythromycin capsules, fresh bamboo sap oral liquid, and ibuprofen capsules. Patients should go to the hospital as soon as possible for a more comprehensive examination and take a chest X-ray to see if there is any possibility of pneumothorax or hemothorax. Generally, after a comprehensive examination, the patient can generally determine the cause of the disease. Under the guidance of a doctor, targeted treatment based on the cause can achieve the best treatment effect.

Patients can be treated with the method of Chinese medicine differentiation. Chinese herbal medicine has relatively small side effects on the human body and its effect is relatively fast. It is a very good choice for patients and patients can adopt it. In daily life, patients should pay attention to adjusting their lifestyle. They should live a regular and rhythmic life, have three meals a day at regular times and in fixed quantities, and eat small meals frequently. They should also go to bed early and get up early every day, avoid staying up late, pay more attention to rest, and ensure that patients get enough sleep.
