How to treat antral gastritis

How to treat antral gastritis

Antral gastritis is a common and frequently occurring disease. As the saying goes, nine out of ten people suffer from stomach problems. There are many causes of antral gastritis, the most common of which are irregular diet, eating one meal and being full the next, not chewing slowly while eating, and smoking. Some patients may suffer from antral gastritis immediately after smoking. Drinking, bad mood, and overwork are all triggers of antral gastritis. Patients with antral gastritis should pay attention to their daily lives.

There are many symptoms of antral gastritis, including upper abdominal discomfort and a bloated feeling. The pain can be dull or very severe, and there is acid reflux. It is generally difficult to diagnose antral gastritis by yourself, so you should go to the hospital for a gastroscopy in time. If the hospital confirms that you have antral gastritis, you can take the following treatments.

The treatment of antral gastritis should generally adopt measures such as diet control, sedation, acid resistance, antispasmodics, and analgesia, mainly symptomatic treatment. For those who are emotionally nervous, small doses of sedatives can be used. For those with belching, nausea and gastric emptying disorders, you can choose metoclopramide 10 mg 2 to 3 times a day, or you can choose metoclopramide 20 mg 2 to 3 times a day, or cisapride 10 mg 2 to 3 times a day. For inflammatory lesions of the gastric antral mucosa, you can use 0.67 grams of Maizilin-S, 3 times a day, for 6 to 8 weeks. If the patient has upper abdominal pain accompanied by acid reflux, Tagamet 400 mg can be added once a day for 1 month. Or take famotidine 20 mg once a night for 1 month. If the pathological diagnosis of chronic antral gastritis is Helicobacter pylori infection, you can choose 2 tablets of Denuo, 3 times a day, for 4 to 6 weeks, or take 500 mg of amoxicillin, 3 times a day, for 4 weeks. The diet should be light and less irritating. Do not eat too much at dinner and go to bed after the food is digested. Otherwise, it will increase stomach discomfort. Try to eat less greasy food in your daily diet.

Antral gastritis is not terrible, as long as you pay more attention to some details in your daily life, eat more high-protein, high-fiber foods, and drink yogurt. If you take timely treatment under the guidance of a doctor, the cure rate of antral gastritis can reach 100%. Some patients worry whether antral gastritis can turn into gastric cancer. Antral gastritis is just an inflammation of the stomach.
