When taking a Chinese herbal medicine like Maca, you still need to follow certain methods and times. You cannot take it casually. Otherwise, it will not be of any benefit to your body and will even cause some harm. In fact, most people have to wait until after a meal before taking the medicine to avoid damaging their gastrointestinal tract. Other medicines do not have such a large time limit. 1. Slice 2-4 grams (2-3 slices) of maca, add boiling water (about 300-500 ml in a thermos cup each time) and soak for 20 minutes. After soaking 4 times, the maca pieces can be eaten directly. 2. 30g of dried maca slices and 10 red dates. Remove the pits from the red dates and wash them for later use. Soak the maca roots in a water tank and mix them with a variety of different ingredients, including a handful of fresh papaya, some condensed milk, eggs, honey and vanilla. After constant stirring, you can finally make a delicious maca drink. 5. When stewing chicken, duck, meat, ribs, soup, etc., add 10 grams of maca slices/2000ml soup 30 minutes before stopping the heat, and drink 50ml/day. 6. Slice maca and mix with liquor, soak in 42-56 degree liquor at a weight (g): volume (ml) ratio of 1:20 for 2 weeks, drink 25ml/day; the soaked maca slices are generally taken according to meal times every day, that is, three times a day, in the morning, noon and evening, with warm water on an empty stomach before meals. 7. Slice the maca slices and put them into strong liquor brewed from pure high-grain grains. Cook them for a long time so that the effective ingredients of maca can fully diffuse into the alcohol. After a month, you can directly pour out the liquor and drink it (7-10 slices can be put into one pound of liquor). This is the maca health wine. 8. Directly taking professional maca products such as maca sheets and maca capsules is currently the most convenient way to use maca. Generally, it should be taken at meal times every day, that is, three times a day, morning, noon and evening, with warm water on an empty stomach before meals. Maca can be eaten after being dried in the sun, or made into a cold dish. It is better to eat it cooked, as it can provide a lot of heat energy. The fresh roots of maca can be stir-fried with meat or other vegetables, or they can be dried and cooked with water or milk. People often add honey and fruit juice to the fresh roots and drink it as a beverage. |
