Yellow spots in the eyes

Yellow spots in the eyes

Under normal circumstances, the eyes are composed of two parts: the eyeball and the white of the eye. The eyeball color of Chinese people is mostly dark brown. Excessive use of the eyes can easily lead to the appearance of red bloodshot. However, these conditions are not terrible. What is terrible is the growth of yellow spots on the eyes! Because there will be no discomfort symptoms when there are yellow spots in the eyes, they are often already formed when they are discovered.

There are many situations that can cause yellow spots in the eyes. Poor eye hygiene and excessive use of the eyes can cause the appearance of yellow spots. However, the yellow spots caused by these reasons are not terrible. What is terrible is the yellow spots caused by some fundus diseases, which can seriously affect the patient's vision.

Macular disease can be caused by many reasons. When the eyes or other organs of the body are inflamed, such as retinitis, uveitis, hypertension, diabetes, blood diseases, etc., they can induce or be complicated by macular disease; excessive use of the eyes, fatigue driving, staying up late, long-term work in front of the computer, etc. can also cause macular disease; high myopia or eye trauma can also cause macular hemorrhage or rupture; excessive exposure to strong light or watching a solar eclipse can also cause macular burn-like injuries.

Especially the elderly over 50 years old are prone to age-related macular degeneration. As age increases, the blindness rate also increases. Teachers, writers, accountants, art workers, etc. are also prone to this disease. Children may have congenital or hereditary maculopathy due to inheritance or illness of their parents before birth. Infected canine and feline ascariasis (pet dogs and cats), toxoplasmosis and some sexually transmitted diseases (such as syphilis) can all cause maculopathy. During the treatment process, special attention should be paid to the treatment of the primary disease.

The small yellow spot that appears on the white of the eye may be related to the slow absorption process after bleeding. But in most cases, the yellow spots in the eyes should be palpebral fissures, or they may just be a small piece of pigmentation. Many people have this kind of thing on their eyes, and it has nothing to do with bleeding. It's just that it's usually hard to notice. If it is caused by bleeding, it will generally recover in about two weeks as the bleeding is absorbed. But if it is caused by palpebral fissure spots or pigmentation, it depends on the individual's physical constitution and will stay there and will not disappear.

In order to avoid the harm caused by yellow spots in the eyes, you must pay attention to timely treatment. In order to avoid the occurrence of yellow spots in the eyes, it is also recommended that you pay attention to your eye hygiene habits. Do not rub your eyes with dirty hands, do not use expired eye drops, and especially be careful not to share a bottle of eye drops with others to avoid inflammatory infection.
