Emergency treatment for potato poisoning: (1) Immediately induce vomiting and gastric lavage with strong tea or 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution after poisoning. (3) For patients with severe vomiting and abdominal pain, 0.3-0.5 mg of atropine can be given by intramuscular injection. Symptoms of poisoning : Symptoms usually appear ten minutes to several hours after eating, including burning pain in the stomach, numbness of the tongue and throat, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea. Severely poisoned people may experience fever, headache, coma, sweating, and palpitations. Children often suffer from convulsions and coma. Potatoes should be stored in a cool, ventilated place without direct sunlight to prevent them from sprouting and turning green. For potatoes with very few sprouts, the sprouts and the flesh around the eyes should be thoroughly dug out. Because solanine is soluble in water, you can soak it in water for about half an hour.
