Early symptoms of hepatitis B

Early symptoms of hepatitis B

The liver is an important organ in our body and is our main detoxification organ. The transformation of many substances in our body needs to take place in the liver. Moreover, due to the large number of blood vessels in the liver, it is easy for pathogenic microorganisms to multiply. In addition, the liver lacks sensory nerves. When the liver is diseased in the early stages, we generally do not feel much. By the time we discover it, we have missed the best time to treat the disease.

There are many causes of liver disease, such as mechanical damage, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, etc. Among so many causes of liver disease, hepatitis B is the most common cause. Hepatitis B is a common infectious disease. In the early stages of the disease, the patient's body will undergo certain changes. Let us take a brief look at it below.

Common early symptoms of hepatitis B infection include: 1. Decreased appetite; 2. Fatigue; 3. Low fever; 4. Muscle or joint pain; 5. Nausea and vomiting; 6. Abdominal pain.

Common early signs of hepatitis B infection include:

1. The liver is slightly enlarged, with a soft or medium-hard texture, or tenderness or percussion pain. In some cases, there may be no symptoms.

2. Some cases may present with liver disease features, characterized by dark, yellowish-brown, rough complexion, dark purple lips, etc.; it may also cause facial capillary dilation, spider nevi and liver palms, and some patients may have splenomegaly.

3. Yellowing of the sclera or skin occurs later than gastrointestinal symptoms.

The above are the early symptoms of hepatitis B. Diseases that require the liver generally do not have special infections in the early stages, but there will also be obvious symptoms.
