【diagnosis】

The disease can be diagnosed if there is sudden pain in the right upper abdomen radiating to the right shoulder and back, accompanied by fever, nausea, vomiting, physical examination showing tenderness and muscle guarding in the right upper abdomen, positive Murphy's sign, increased white blood cell count, and B-ultrasound showing edema of the gallbladder wall. If there is a history of biliary colic, the diagnosis can be more certain.

It should be pointed out that in 15% to 20% of cases, the clinical manifestations are mild, or the symptoms are relieved immediately after they occur, but the actual disease is still progressing, which may increase the difficulty of diagnosis.
