Fresh Dendrobium officinale

Fresh Dendrobium officinale

I believe everyone is familiar with Dendrobium. It is a very common plant for us. It is generally used as medicine and has good medicinal effects. It is of great help to human health and also has ornamental value. So what exactly is fresh Dendrobium officinale? Many people want to know this. Let us learn about this issue together.

Dendrobium is a plant that we often come into contact with in our daily life. It not only has medicinal effects, but also has ornamental value. Dendrobium officinale is a type of Dendrobium. Let us learn about fresh Dendrobium officinale.

Dendrobium officinale, called "Linlan" in Shennong's Herbal Classic, is sweet, flat and non-toxic. It is used to treat injuries, remove numbness, relieve qi, replenish the five internal organs, and strengthen the yin. Li Shizhen said in Compendium of Materia Medica that it "strengthens yin and benefits essence, and long-term use can strengthen the stomach and intestines, lighten the body and prolong life." Modern clinical applications and pharmacological studies have also confirmed that Dendrobium officinale has definite effects on increasing immunity, anti-aging, preventing and treating cancer, and treating diabetes and atrophic gastritis. It has a restorative effect on people who smoke, drink, work hard, have a nightlife, overuse their eyes and brains, and have hoarse vocal cords.

Wild Dendrobium officinale only grows in the shady cracks of cliffs or on trees in primeval forests. It has strict requirements on microclimates such as temperature, humidity, and light, and generally needs to grow for 2-3 years before it can be harvested. Therefore, the so-called wild Dendrobium officinale on the market is almost extinct.

After more than ten years of research and exploration, Shouxiangu Pharmaceutical has found the way to genetically engineered breeding of Dendrobium officinale and organic cultivation in a simulated natural ecological environment, which can be cultivated on a large scale while maintaining the efficacy of wild Dendrobium officinale. Its standardized large-scale Dendrobium officinale base has passed the internationally unified Wantai organic certification.

There are many ways to process and eat Dendrobium candidum, but the most authentic way is to eat fresh Dendrobium candidum. There are three ways to eat it:

Chewing: Take some fresh Dendrobium candidum, wash and chew it carefully. It tastes sweet and slightly sticky, fresh and refreshing. Swallow the remaining residue.

Decoction: Zhang Xichun, a famous doctor in modern times, said: "Dendrobium candidum is the most durable when decocted. It should be split and decocted first to get the true taste." Use 5-10 grams of fresh Dendrobium candidum every day, add water and decoct for 30 minutes, then drink the soup. This method can also be extended to use fresh Dendrobium candidum to make tea for a long time;

In terms of diet, medicine is not as good as food. You can flatten the fresh Dendrobium officinale and cook it into porridge, soup, or dishes to nourish your body.

Fresh Dendrobium candidum is also very convenient to store. It can be kept in a ventilated and cool place or in a refrigerator fresh-keeping box for about 15 days.

Before consuming Dendrobium candidum, you must ask a Chinese medicine practitioner to diagnose whether it is suitable for your physical condition. Generally speaking, Dendrobium candidum is suitable for 1. People with yin deficiency and weak body; 2. People who drink, smoke, and have liver damage; 3. Sub-healthy people who are under great pressure and stay up late; 3. Respiratory emergencies; 4. Oral pain caused by getting angry; 5. Constipation and dry mouth. 6. Diabetes. 7. For people with three highs, and for healthy people, it can also be used for daily nourishing yin health care, weight loss and longevity, beauty and nourishing skin, etc.

After understanding your constitution, you also need to pay attention to the way and method of consumption. Generally, if it is not used for medical treatment, it is most effective to grind it into powder and then stew it, so that all the nutrients can be utilized. If you like convenience, grind it into powder and take it with boiling water. However, if it is used as an auxiliary treatment, it needs to be combined with other medicinal materials to be effective. For example, for lowering blood pressure, use 50 grams each of Dendrobium candidum, American ginseng, 60 grams each of wolfberry, chrysanthemum, and salvia miltiorrhiza, grind them into powder, take it with warm water, and the effect will only be seen after long-term use. For the treatment of diabetes, use 9 grams of Dendrobium candidum, 5 grams of dried tangerine peel, add 10 grams each of polygonatum, poria, yam, and polygonatum, stew them until they are soft, and add salt. For the treatment of rheumatism, use 250 grams of Dendrobium officinale, 20 grams of Eucommia ulmoides, and 10 liters of white wine, and soak them in the wine for many years to remove dampness and prolong life.

Through the introduction in the above article, I believe everyone has a certain understanding of what fresh Dendrobium officinale is. We all know that fresh Dendrobium officinale is good for all aspects of the human body, so you might as well eat more in your daily life. What you need to pay attention to is whether your physique can eat it.
