Renal failure is a chronic, cumulative kidney disease. The main symptom in the early stages of renal failure is the decline in kidney secretion function. Problems with normal kidney excretion will lead to the excretion of toxins and waste, causing the body to become increasingly emaciated. Problems with the kidneys will seriously affect people's normal lives. Patients with severe renal failure will develop into the terrible uremia, so everyone must pay attention to regular physical examinations to avoid discovering the disease before it develops to the late stage. Renal failure can be divided into acute and chronic. Most people suffer from chronic renal failure, while a few suffer from acute renal failure. Acute renal failure is relatively more sudden, more difficult to control, more difficult to treat, and more likely to turn into uremia. So let’s take a look at the causes of renal failure! Causes of renal failure Hypovolemia: massive bleeding caused by various reasons; loss of fluid in the kidneys and gastrointestinal tract, loss of fluid in the skin (such as burns, excessive sweating), etc., resulting in insufficient blood volume. Hypovolemia reduces renal blood perfusion and decreases GFR. At the same time, sympathetic nerve excitement and increased vasopressin cause renal vasoconstriction, further decreasing GFR and thus inducing renal failure. Circulatory insufficiency: Circulatory insufficiency caused by shock, heart failure and other reasons leads to insufficient renal perfusion and decreased GFR. Excessive use of antihypertensive drugs is also a predisposing factor. Severe infections and sepsis: Various severe infections, especially those accompanied by sepsis, can induce renal failure through renal ischemia and nephrotoxicity mechanisms. Severe trauma: such as burns, crush injuries, severe fractures, etc., due to shock, infection and trauma, the tissue releases myoglobin, which can easily lead to renal failure. Severe burns can lead to massive fluid loss and intravascular hemolysis, which can easily lead to renal failure. Cirrhosis and ascites: At this time, the plasma renin-vascular renin-aldosterone system has been activated, and increased vasopressin secretion leads to renal water and sodium retention. Abnormal liver function reduces the ability to detoxify drugs. If too much ascites is drained too quickly at this time, it can easily induce renal failure. Such patients are also prone to renal failure when using nephrotoxic drugs. There are many causes of renal failure. In addition to renal failure caused by some major diseases mentioned above, there are also some kidney diseases accumulated in daily life. When there are some minor problems with our kidneys, everyone will not pay much attention. Daily maintenance is also very important. The kidneys shoulder the important mission of our life metabolism, so everyone must maintain the kidneys, let us have healthy kidneys and stay away from renal failure.
