If the patient also has a fever, infection may be considered and antibiotics such as levofloxacin and metronidazole may be added by intravenous drip. If the patient's condition is serious, symptomatic treatment should also be paid attention to, such as oxygen inhalation, administration of pressor drugs, maintaining respiratory and circulatory functions, and preventing dehydration and shock. Generally, patients will get better and recover quickly after 1 to 3 days of the above treatment. The main way to prevent poisoning is to make sure that the beans are cooked (thoroughly) or fried (thoroughly) before eating; if the beans are not cooked (fried) thoroughly, do not eat them, this can prevent the occurrence of bean poisoning.
