1. People with mild thalassemia should not drink milk, and patients taking iron supplements should not drink milk. This is because the iron contained in various foods is converted into "ferrous iron" in the digestive tract of the body and is absorbed and utilized by the gastrointestinal tract. During the conversion process, it is easily affected by high phosphorus and high calcium. The original iron that is not easily soluble in the calcium salt in milk is generally iron-containing compounds and cannot be absorbed by the human body.

2. Patients with anemia should drink less tea, or better yet, no tea, especially after meals. Drinking tea will prevent anemia patients from absorbing iron from food.

3. Patients should eat some fresh vegetables and fruits.
