What is the best way to treat oral ulcers?

Oral disease has always been a very common disease, causing great inconvenience and great trouble to people's daily life such as diet. Among them, oral ulcers are a very common oral disease. People are prone to oral ulcers when they are anxious and get irritated when working overtime and staying up late. If you get this disease, it will be very painful. Although it is not a serious disease, it will make people lose their appetite or even unable to eat at all, thus affecting their mood and physical health. So it is important to seek timely treatment.

The treatment of oral ulcers is mainly symptomatic, with the goal of relieving the patient's pain, shortening the course of the disease and reducing the number of recurrences, but it is difficult to completely eradicate recurrences. In terms of treatment methods, it can be divided into local treatment and systemic treatment. Local treatment is to apply medicine to achieve the effects of anti-inflammatory, analgesic and promoting healing, while systemic treatment mostly chooses immunomodulatory drugs. The main purpose of local treatment is to reduce inflammation, relieve pain and promote ulcer healing. There are many treatment methods, which are selected according to the condition:

1. Oral gargle: 0.25% chlortetracycline solution, 1:5000 chlorhexidine chlorhexidine solution, 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution, 1:5000 furacilin solution, etc. 2. Lozenges: Dumiphene lozenges, lysozyme lozenges, chlorhexidine lozenges. 3. Powders: Bingpeng Powder, Xilei Powder, Qingdai Powder, Yangyin Shengji Powder, etc. are the main medicines for treating oral ulcers in traditional Chinese medicine. In addition, sprinkling compound betamethasone also has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and ulcer healing effects. 4. Drug film: Its matrix contains antibiotics, cortisone and other drugs. When applied on ulcers, it can relieve pain, protect the ulcer surface and promote healing.

5. Analgesics: 0.5% to 1% procaine solution, 0.5% to 1% dyclonine solution, and 0.5% to 1% dicaine solution. Apply them on the ulcer surface for 2 times in a row for temporary pain relief before eating. 6. Cauterization method: suitable for patients with a small number of ulcers, small area and long interval period. The method is to first use 2% dicaine for surface anesthesia, then isolate the moisture, wipe the ulcer surface dry, use a small cotton ball smaller than the ulcer surface to dip in 10% silver nitrate solution or 50% trinitroacetic acid tincture or iodine phenol solution, and place it on the ulcer surface until the surface turns white. These drugs can precipitate proteins on the ulcer surface to form a thin film to protect the ulcer surface and promote healing.

7. Local blockade: suitable for severe recurrent aphthous ulcer. Add 1 ml of 1% procaine solution to 0.5-1 ml of 2.5% prednisolone acetate suspension and inject it into the tissue below the ulcer, 1-2 times a week, for a total of 2-4 times. It accelerates the healing of ulcers. 8. Laser therapy: Irradiation with helium-neon laser can activate the mucosal regeneration process, reduce inflammatory response and promote healing.

Through the above introduction, I believe everyone must have a certain understanding of oral ulcers and their treatment methods. Of course, we can also take appropriate measures to prevent oral ulcers. Develop good hygiene habits, brush your teeth in the morning and evening, rinse your mouth frequently, avoid staying up late, etc. We should also keep a happy mood, be cheerful, avoid getting angry, and think about happy things. In this way, we can avoid oral ulcers to a large extent. Of course, if you unfortunately get it, you must actively treat it.
