What to do if you have a facial injury

Sometimes the face can be easily injured when walking carelessly or hitting a hard object. Since facial cells are fragile and the skin is delicate, facial injuries are not easy to recover from. If there is bleeding or damage, be sure to bandage it in time. You can use alcohol to disinfect it to avoid the growth of bacteria. If the situation is serious, it is recommended to go to the hospital for vaccination. Or apply some scar removal medicine to avoid leaving scars that affect the appearance.

Abrasions, manifestations: bleeding and breakage.

Treatment: Initial bandaging: For very shallow wounds of small area, you can apply iodized oil or alcohol (mercurochrome) to the skin around the wound and bandage it with clean sterilized gauze. Secondary disinfection: If the wound is not swollen, painful or infected, you can disinfect the wound again with an alcohol cotton ball (mercurochrome) after 2 days. If you don't have iodine or alcohol at home, you can clean the wound with clean water, then apply antibacterial ointment, and then put on a Band-Aid. Experts remind: If the abrasion area is too large, the wound is stained with sand or dirt that cannot be washed off by yourself, or the injured part is important (such as the face), it is recommended to take the baby to see a doctor. For large and deep wounds, parents should take their children to the surgery department in time for local debridement and tetanus injection.

Sprain: Symptoms: pain and tenderness, which increases with movement of the affected part. The damaged joint swells, limiting its movement. Muscle cramps (tightening of muscles, caused by involuntary contractions).

For facial abrasions, you must be careful when applying lotion, because the human facial skin is relatively fragile. You can use red mercurochrome to disinfect and prevent infection. If the wound is deep, consider getting a tetanus shot to prevent tetanus. After all, it is dirty because of contact with cement. You can take some anti-infection drugs orally, but I don't think it is necessary. If a person's immunity is normal, a small wound will not be infected. Before the wound heals, it is best not to let it come into contact with water. When washing your face every day, just wipe the area other than the wound with a wet towel.

There may be a relatively large scar left at the beginning, but it will become lighter and lighter over time, and may even disappear. Everyone's skin characteristics are different, so the results will also be different.
