Pregnant women have spleen deficiency. Eating these four foods can nourish the spleen.

For pregnant women with symptoms of spleen deficiency, if they want to replenish their spleen, they need to understand the foods they can eat in advance. So, what foods are good for pregnant women with spleen deficiency?

1. Eggs:

Eggs are rich in nutrients and high in protein. They also contain lecithin, yolk, and a variety of vitamins and minerals. They are easy to digest and suitable for consumption by postpartum women. But it doesn't mean the more you eat, the better. In some areas, the custom is to advocate eating more eggs, even 20 to 30 eggs a day. This is unnecessary because eating too much cannot be absorbed by the body and will be excreted in vain. It will also affect the normal digestive function. Therefore, mothers do not need to eat more than 4 to 6 eggs a day.

2. Brown sugar:

Since brown sugar contains much more glucose than white sugar, drinking brown sugar will warm the whole body of the mother. The high iron content in brown sugar can replenish the blood for postpartum women. Brown sugar contains a variety of trace elements and minerals, which can act as a diuretic, prevent and treat postpartum urinary incontinence, and promote the discharge of lochia. Brown sugar also has the effect of promoting lactation and relieving pain. But don't consume too much. Generally, it should not be consumed for more than 10 days. Drinking it for too long will increase bloody lochia, and in summer it will make the mother sweat more and have less salt in the body.

3. Soup:

Chicken soup, fish soup, and pork rib soup contain proteins, vitamins, and minerals that are easily absorbed by the human body. They are delicious and can stimulate the secretion of gastric juice, increase appetite, and promote lactation. Because mothers sweat a lot and secrete milk, their water needs are higher than those of ordinary people. Therefore, they should drink more soup. However, experts remind that while drinking more soup, don’t forget to eat more meat. Meat is much more nutritious than soup. The saying that "soup is more nutritious than meat" is unscientific.

4. Xiaomi:

Millet is rich in vitamin B1 and vitamin B2, which can help postpartum women restore their strength, stimulate intestinal peristalsis and increase appetite. However, experts remind that millet porridge should not be too thin, and millet should not be the only staple food after childbirth to avoid lack of other nutrients.
