Anal internal hemorrhoids, Chinese medicine can treat it in this way

Internal hemorrhoids are a type of hemorrhoids, which is a common disease in the anorectal department. Generally speaking, when people suffer from anal internal hemorrhoids, they can use the method of Chinese medicine differentiation and treatment to treat the disease.

1. Wind-damaged intestinal network syndrome

Main symptoms: blood in the stool, dripping or spurting out, the blood is bright red; or accompanied by dry mouth, constipation; red tongue, yellow coating, and rapid pulse.

Treatment method: Clear away heat, cool blood and dispel wind.

Representative prescription: Liangxue Decoction with modifications.

Commonly used prescriptions: Gardenia seed, Scutellaria baicalensis, Imperata cylindrica, Anemarrhena asphodeloides, Platycodon grandiflorum, Licorice root, Platycladus orientalis leaf, and Paeonia lactiflora.

2. Damp-heat syndrome

Main symptoms: fresh blood in stool, large amount, prolapsed and incarcerated hemorrhoids, swelling and pain, or erosion and necrosis; dry mouth and no desire to drink, bitter taste in the mouth, yellow urine; yellow and greasy tongue coating, and rapid pulse.

Treatment method: clear away heat, promote dampness and stop bleeding.

Representative prescription: Modified analgesic decoction.

Commonly used prescriptions: Qinjiao, peach kernel, sapodilla seed, Atractylodes, Saposhnikovia, Phellodendron, Angelica root, Alisma, Areca catechu, and Rhubarb.

3. Spleen deficiency and qi deficiency syndrome

Main symptoms: anal distension and prolapse of hemorrhoids, which need to be pushed back by hand, blood in the stool, bright red or light red, and a long course of disease; pale complexion, fatigue, poor appetite and loose stools; pale tongue, white coating, and weak pulse.

Treatment method: Strengthen the spleen and replenish qi.

Representative prescription: Buzhong Yiqi Decoction with modifications.

Commonly used medicines: Astragalus, licorice, ginseng, angelica, tangerine peel, Cimicifuga, Bupleurum, and Atractylodes.
