Wind-predominant type: seen in diffuse skin infiltration and hypertrophy lesions. Symptoms: Stubborn and unhealed condition lasting from several years to decades, severe itching all over the body, resembling the skin on a cow's neck, stringy pulse, red tongue, and yellow tongue coating.

Prescription: 9 grams of black snake, 6 grams of cicada shell, 9 grams of schizonepeta, 9 grams of siler, 9 grams of notopterygium, 6 grams of angelica dahurica, 9 grams of Chuanlian, 9 grams of scutellaria baicalensis, 12 grams of honeysuckle, and 6 grams of raw licorice. Decoction in water, take one dose per day.

External treatment
