How to stimulate pituitary secretion

How to stimulate pituitary secretion

The pituitary gland plays an important role in the human body and is crucial to physical health, so it is particularly important to promote pituitary gland secretion. In daily life, many people do not know how to promote pituitary secretion, so it is particularly important to have a certain understanding of this knowledge. Friends in need can learn more about the relevant knowledge to better promote pituitary secretion and protect body health.

1A complete neuroendocrine functional system composed of the thalamus and pituitary gland. This system can be divided into two parts: ① Hypothalamic-pituitary system. There is a neural and humoral connection between the two, that is, the peptide neurons in the hypothalamic pituitary region secrete peptide neurohormones (releasing hormone and release-inhibiting hormone), which are transported to the adenohypophysis through the pituitary portal system to regulate the secretion of corresponding adenohypophysial hormones. ②Hypothalamic-neuropituitary system. There is a direct neural connection. The peptide neurohormones secreted by the neuroendocrine cells of the supraoptic nucleus and paraventricular nucleus of the hypothalamus can flow through the axons and directly reach the neurohypophysis and be stored there. Function of the hypothalamus The hypothalamus is part of the diencephalon, is bilaterally symmetrical, and forms the lateral wall and floor of the lower part of the third ventricle. The hypothalamus has many cell nuclei and fiber bundles and has close connections with other parts of the central nervous system.

2 The pituitary gland, also known as the hypothalamus, secretes hormones that directly regulate the functional activities of certain target organs. In addition, it also secretes several trophic hormones that act on the corresponding target glands (such as the thyroid gland, gonads, adrenal cortex, etc.), regulate the secretory function of the target glands, and indirectly regulate the physiological functions of certain organs through target gland hormones. Because the pituitary gland is closely connected with the hypothalamus in function, the hypothalamus and pituitary gland are generally regarded as a complete functional system. The connection between the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland: The hypothalamus-adenohypophysis system regulates the secretion of corresponding adenohypophysis hormones through nerves and body fluids.

3. Hormones of the adenohypophysis and their physiological functions. Eight protein hormones have been isolated from the adenohypophysis: ① Growth hormone (GH). The main physiological functions of GH are: stimulating the proliferation of cartilage and soft tissue, increasing the bone area, accompanied by the enlargement of internal organs, and the proliferation of muscles, skin, connective tissue and lymphatic organs; promoting protein synthesis; repeated injections of GH into mammals can increase blood sugar, and long-term injections can lead to permanent diabetes; stimulating the reproduction of thymic lymphocytes and general lymphocytes; when GH is used in combination with several other "tropin hormones" (such as ACTH, TSH, FSH and LH), the efficacy of these hormones can be significantly enhanced; it has a "permissive effect" on other hormones and can create a physiological environment for other hormones or factors to fully exert their effects, etc. ②Prolactin (PRH). The main physiological functions of PRH are to regulate reproductive activity and sexual behavior, promote the secretion of milk from developed mammary glands, etc. ③Adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH). ACTH mainly acts on the zona fasciculata and zona reticularis of the adrenal cortex, causing cell proliferation and promoting the biosynthesis and secretion of glucocorticoids. ④ Lipostimulating hormone (LPH). LPH has a lipolytic effect and a slight melanocyte stimulating effect. ⑤Melanocyte stimulating hormone (MSH). The main function of MSH is to stimulate melanocyte pigments, causing them to spread and causing the skin to darken. ⑥ Glycoprotein hormones [luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH)].

4 There are three glycoprotein hormones in the pituitary gland, namely LH, FSH and TSH. A type of thyroid-stimulating factor (HTF) was found in the pituitary gland of bony fish, which is very similar to gonadotropin. HTF, LH and FSH all have stimulating effects on the thyroid gland of bony fish. These findings suggest that TSH, LH and FSH may originate from the same primitive molecule. Both LH and FSH have a stimulatory effect on the gonads (see Female Reproductive System, Male Reproductive System). TSH mainly stimulates the thyroid gland to synthesize and secrete thyroid hormones. Hypothalamic regulation of pituitary trophic hormones: Hypothalamic releasing hormone (RH) can increase the synthesis and secretion of corresponding pituitary hormones. For example, thyrotropin-releasing hormone can promote the synthesis and secretion of thyroid-stimulating hormone in the pituitary. Hypothalamic inhibitory hormone can inhibit the synthesis and secretion of corresponding hormones in the pituitary. For example, prolactin inhibitory hormone can reduce the synthesis and secretion of prolactin in the pituitary. Vasopressin can increase blood pressure and promote the absorption of water by the renal tubules. Hypothalamic-neurohypophysis system The neurohypophysis is closely related to the hypothalamus in both structure and function. Nerve fibers from neurons in the supraoptic nucleus and paraventricular nucleus of the hypothalamus enter the neurohypophysis directly, called the hypothalamic-pituitary tract. Hormones synthesized and secreted by neurons in the supraoptic nucleus and paraventricular nucleus are transported along this bundle to the neurohypophysis for storage and then released into the blood circulation when needed. It is generally believed that the supraoptic nucleus may mainly produce antidiuretic hormone, while the paraventricular nucleus may mainly produce oxytocin. ①Antidiuretic hormone. Also called vasopressin. Its main physiological function is to promote the reabsorption of water molecules in the renal collecting duct and the posterior segment of the distal convoluted tubule. Therefore, insufficient secretion of antidiuretic hormone, excessive secretion of antidiuretic hormone, and abnormal renal tubular response to antidiuretic hormone will all affect urine volume. When antidiuretic hormone is deficient, the daily urine volume can reach more than ten liters, which is called diabetes insipidus. ②Oxytocin. For the pregnant uterus, oxytocin has a strong stimulating effect on uterine muscle contraction and promotes breast milk secretion. Regulation of secretion ① Antidiuretic hormone. Under physiological conditions, it is mainly regulated by changes in blood volume and extracellular fluid osmotic pressure. ②Oxytocin. Stimulating the external genitalia, sucking the nipples and stimulating the uterus can all reflexively cause the secretion of oxytocin, accompanied by uterine contractions, which promotes the movement of sperm to the fallopian tubes.

Guidance:

Several ideal foods that promote growth and maintain health and figure: 1. 100% protein: Protein can quickly burn excess fat in the body, reduce weight, and enhance the body's resistance to disease and fatigue. Experts agree that protein intake is beneficial to health. 2. Animal protein is found in large quantities in meat, fish, eggs, etc. 3. Eggs: Among all kinds of animal proteins, eggs are the most important food. Eggs also contain various amino acids that are necessary for making cells, so eating eggs with meals will definitely produce excellent results. 4. Breakfast cannot be skipped: Many girls who are afraid of getting fat ignore breakfast. In fact, in the eyes of Westerners, breakfast is the main meal of the day. No matter how much you weigh, you must eat breakfast. 5. Eat less snacks: Snacks such as candy, chocolate, peanuts, etc., mostly contain high calories and are really dangerous. People who can't live without snacks might as well learn from models to bite carrots. Celery or low-calorie foods. 6. More quantity but less calories: Everyone has appetite, just in different sizes. If you want to satisfy your appetite and lose weight at the same time, you should choose this kind of food. Watermelon is an example of a fruit. Even if you fill your stomach, it has almost no calories; the same goes for vegetable soup. 7. Vitamin supplementation: As mentioned earlier, vitamins are the source of life. For beauty and nutrition, you need to supplement adequate vitamins every day. 8. Drink less alcohol: Because alcohol is high in calories, it replaces the burning effect of fat and naturally causes weight gain. 9. Exercise more: consume excess energy as much as possible. If it is stored in the body, it will be converted into fat. 10. Eat more raw vegetables: such as carrots. Foods with low calories, such as celery and lettuce, are not cooked so their nutrients are not destroyed. Many models have the habit of eating lettuce at any time.
