What are the symptoms of kidney yang deficiency and qi deficiency?

When it comes to the two TCM syndromes of kidney yang deficiency and qi deficiency, most people are very concerned about their symptoms. Therefore, this article will introduce the clinical manifestations of kidney yang deficiency and qi deficiency as follows.

Clinical manifestations of kidney yang deficiency:

Fatigue, lack of energy, low vitality, easy fatigue; fear of cold, cold limbs (even in summer in severe cases), heavy body; soreness of waist and knees, cold pain in waist and back, weak tendons and bones; sexual dysfunction, impotence, premature ejaculation, susceptibility to prostatitis, etc.; clear and long urination, residual urine, less urine or frequent urination at night; hearing loss or tinnitus; memory loss, drowsiness, nightmares, spontaneous sweating; susceptibility to low back pain, joint pain, etc.; susceptibility to osteoporosis, cervical spondylosis, lumbar spondylosis, etc.; shortness of breath, cough, wheezing and sputum; diarrhea at dawn, or constipation; edema of the body, especially below the waist, edema of the lower limbs; traction on the lower abdomen, testicular swelling and pain, or scrotal contraction, more severe in cold weather, less severe in heat; easy loss of hair, premature graying; puffy or emaciated body; reflected in the face as dull pale or dark.

Clinical manifestations of Qi deficiency:

Qi deficiency symptoms can involve all aspects of the body. For example, if qi is deficient, the body will be unable to defend against external pathogens, the skin will not be firm, and sweating will occur easily; if qi is deficient, the muscles of the limbs will not be nourished, and the whole body will feel tired and weak; if qi is deficient, the clear yang will not rise, the clear orifices will not be nourished, and the spirit will be weak, dizzy and tinnitus will occur; if qi is deficient, the body will be unable to lead the blood circulation, and the pulse will be weak or fine; if qi is deficient, the water metabolism will be disordered, the water will not be transformed, and the distribution will be obstructed, which can condense into phlegm and even cause water evil to overflow and cause edema; qi deficiency can also lead to decreased function of the internal organs, thus manifesting a series of signs of internal organ weakness.
