Popular science on the symptoms and location of gout

At present, gout is a common disease in clinical medicine today. It has brought troubles to more and more people. Therefore, we cannot ignore its full understanding in daily life. Understanding its symptoms and getting relevant treatment in time is the key. So, what are the symptoms of gout?

1. During the hyperuricemia stage, the patient does not show any clinical symptoms of gout except for increased blood uric acid.

2. In the early stages of gout, most people are awakened by a pain like being cut by a knife in their sleep. The first site of gout is often the big toe. The joint is red, swollen, burning and swollen. The quilt cannot be covered, and the foot must be stretched outside. If there is a slight breeze or a slight touch, and the toes are moved, the pain will immediately be as severe as if it were pierced through the heart.

3. In the middle stage of gout, gouty arthritis starts with a toe joint and then suffers repeated acute attacks. After several acute attacks, it gradually spreads to the joints of the fingers, toes, wrists, ankles, knees and other joints throughout the body. The surrounding soft tissues and bones are also damaged and dysfunctional to varying degrees. Uric acid crystals continue to deposit and slowly form "tophus" like stones. At this time, renal function is normal or slightly decreased.

4. In the late stage of gout, the patient's joint deformities and dysfunctions become increasingly serious, the number of tophi increases, the size increases, and they are easily ruptured, discharging white urate crystals. Due to permanent joint deformities, daily study, work and life are affected, causing great physical and mental pain to the patient.
