4. Whether you have a preference for meat and fried foods;

5. Lack of exercise?

Why should we learn about the health of our blood vessels?

Because blood vessels are the lifeline of the human body. The vascular endothelium of each of us is smooth and clean when we are born, but as we age, fat and cholesterol in the blood will slowly deposit, causing the vascular endothelium to gradually thicken and the blood vessel lumen to gradually narrow, narrowing by 1% to 2% each year.

The rate of blood vessel narrowing is 3 to 4% per year. Professor Wang Xudong from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine will teach you a little trick today: vascular exercise - vascular gymnastics to protect the elasticity of our blood vessels.

This method allows us to use natural temperature to help our blood vessels, perform the contraction and relaxation exercise to maintain blood vessel elasticity. So how do we do it? Just take a bath at home!

Specific steps:

1. Start with 40~45℃ hot water. After turning on the hot water, bathe your body. Use hot water for 2~3 minutes, then adjust the temperature to low.

If you are in good health, use hot water at 20~25℃. If you feel that water at 20~25℃ is a bit cold, you can use warm water at 30~40℃ (middle-aged and elderly people must not use water that is too cold).

2. Then use hot water, then cold water, alternate 5 to 10 times, and finally wash with hot water.

Blood vessels throughout the body dilate due to a hot shower and constrict due to a cold shower. The expansion and contraction of blood vessels increases their elasticity and makes them less likely to harden. If you persist in this exercise, your blood vessel movement will get better and better.

Ma Yinchu, a contemporary Chinese economist and educator, lived to be 100 years old. He did vascular gymnastics every day, all year round, for decades, and Ma persisted in this exercise for 76 years.

However, this type of vascular exercise is not suitable for everyone.

Who is not suitable for “vascular exercises”?

People who are accustomed to taking hot baths should not take a cold bath immediately after taking a hot bath. Instead, they should take a warm bath first and gradually lower the water temperature. After a period of adaptation, they can then adopt the vascular exercise of "hot first and then cold".

Blood vessels are young and young! A professor of traditional Chinese medicine recommends vascular gymnastics. If you keep doing them, your blood vessels will stay young until you are 100 years old!
